In this role, you will contribute to optimization, reliability, and safe operations by working closely with multidisciplinary teams and translating technical analysis into practical improvements for the plant.\nIf selected, the job location would be onsite at Saudi Arabia\nResponsibilities\nAnalyze existing plant processes and identify improvements that enhance efficiency, quality, productivity, energy use, and waste reduction.\nDesign, execute, and analyze plant performance tests; evaluate performance data; and provide actionable optimization recommendations.\nCollect and analyze process data to identify trends and deviations, and prepare technical reports and presentations for management and stakeholders.\nTroubleshoot operational issues, determine root causes, implement corrective actions, and support operations and maintenance teams with complex process-related problems.\nApply process improvement methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma, refine standard operating procedures, and promote process consistency.\nCollaborate with operations, maintenance, engineering, commissioning, and safety teams to ensure safe and efficient operations.\nTrain plant personnel on process improvements and best practices.\nEnsure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards, and participate in risk assessments, process hazard analyses, and safety audits.\nLead or support process improvement projects and coordinate timely execution across departments.\nMonitor and maintain process control systems for stability and efficiency.\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree or higher in Chemical Engineering with a minimum of 7+ years of relevant process engineering experience.\nRelevant plant or process experience in SARU (Soot Ash Recovery Unit), SRU (Sulphur Recovery Unit), AGR (Acid Gas Removal Unit), HRU (Hydrogen Recovery Unit), gasification units, gas processing, sulfur recovery, hydrogen recovery, and refining or petrochemical facilities.\nStrong understanding of plant operations, process optimization, and performance testing.\nFamiliarity with laboratory equipment and analytical techniques, including chromatographs, spectrometers, and other analytical instruments.\nKnowledge of process safety management, risk assessment methods, EHS regulations, P&ID interpretation, and process documentation.\nExpertise in troubleshooting and diagnosing operational issues in plant systems and equipment.\nExperience with process control, automation systems, and advanced process control strategies.\nAbility to use Aspen HYSYS and process simulation tools.\nProficiency in spoken and written English, including the ability to prepare clear technical reports and
