Interns receive assignments and projects that aim to solve real challenges facing the electric industry.\nThe internship program also allows students to experience working alongside ERCOT employees and being part of a team. Throughout the internship, ERCOT leaders are able to evaluate each individual interns' capabilities and compatibility with ERCOT's mission, vision and values.\nEducation\nPursuing an undergraduate (at least sophomore year) or graduate degree in Accounting, MIS, or a related discipline (i.e. Finance, Cyber, AI etc.), with coursework in auditing, accounting, information systems, risk management or related topics completed.\n\nStrong critical, analytics, communication, and organizational skills, with a collaborative mindset.\n\nEligible candidates should be enrolled in an academic bachelors or post graduate degree program maintaining a GPA of 3.0 or higher.\n\nPreferred Experience\nProficiency with AI platforms, MS Office suite and familiarity with data-analysis or visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, SQL) preferred.\n\nWork Location - Taylor, TX\nInterns will be required to be on-site in Taylor, TX at minimum 2 days per week, or more, as needed based on the business needs as determined by management.\n\nThis is a full-time internship for the Summer of 2027.
