An inclusive and diverseworkforce strengthens us and allows for a collaborative environment to solve the challenges that face our industry today and in the future.\nJOB DUTIES\nLevels 1 & 2\nPerform installation, maintenance, repair, and physical inspection of critical infrastructure HVAC equipment to ensure up time within a 24/7 operational environment.\nAssists with diagnostics and mechanical repairs on essential heating, cooling, and ventilation systems.\nContributes to equipment failure reviews and provides root cause analysis.\nExecutes routine preventative maintenance on all components of vital heating and cooling units; services compressors to optimize service life and reliability of critical infrastructure.\nSupports achievement and maintenance of availability and capacity targets for data centers and technical infrastructure across all ERCOT facilities.\nProvides stand-by and emergency maintenance as required.\nResponds promptly to safety and emergency incidents for Facilities Services, maintaining a secure and safe work environment.\nAvailable weekends, evenings, and non-standard hours; must always carry a phone and respond to infrastructure emergencies 24/7.\nUtilizes BAS applications for analysis, reporting, and optimized control of HVAC systems.\nAssists in planning and designing new heating and air-conditioning installations.\nHelps maintain maintenance records in accordance with City, State, and EPA regulations.\nLevels Senior and Lead - Above +\nReview equipment failures and deliver detailed root cause analysis and postmortem reports\nRecommend, document and implement procedural improvements in a continuous effort to maintain operational excellence and targeted uptime\nReads and reviews blueprints, floor plans, wiring diagrams and job specifications to determine best method of installing heating and ventilation systems\nPrepares and presents estimates of cost of parts, equipment, and supplies of proposed installation or repairs\nEnsures availability and capacity targets are achieved and maintained for data centers and technical infrastructure for all ERCOT facilities\nMaintains strong technical knowledge control systems and power wiring,\nAssists in planning and designing new installations of heating and air-conditioning systems\nInterprets building codes and regulations as they relate to HVAC\nPlan layout and installation of HVAC additions and controls throughout ERCOT mission critical facilities\nCreate detailed documentation of installations and maintenance processes\nParticipates in the preparation of analyses and reports on the data center and critical infrastructure\nCoordinates and inspects the work of contractors to ensure quality workmanship\nCERTIFICATION\nValid Texas Driver's License (Required)\nEPA Certification (Preferred)\nLiebert Service and Repair Certification (Preferred)\nTACL Class A license (Preferred)\nState of Texas ACR Class A Contractor license (Preferred)\nEXPERIENCE\nLevel 2: At least 2 years of job-related experience beyond degree required.\nLevel 3: Minimum 5 years of job-related experience beyond degree, including 5 years progressively responsible work in installation, maintenance, service, and repair.\nLead Level: Minimum 8 years of job-related experience beyond degree, including 8 years progressively responsible work in installation, maintenance, service, and repair.\nEDUCATION\nHigh School Diploma or GED (Required)\nor a combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge to a major in such fields is required\nThe foregoing description reflects the minimum qualifications and the essential functions of the position that must be performed proficiently with or without reasonable accommodation for individuals with disabilities.
