Power BI Developer

ERG is seeking a Power BI Developer to support the development, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of mission-critical systems in a federal environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with Power BI, SharePoint, SQL, and Microsoft Power Platform and will be comfortable translating operational requirements into secure, scalable, and user-focused technical solutions.

The position will initially be a hybrid role, with the potential to transition to a remote work arrangement following the initial assignment, based on business needs and project requirements.

Job Description:

• Ensure solutions comply with applicable federal security, documentation, data governance, and operational requirements
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business processes, and identify opportunities for automation and process improvement
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reporting tools, compliance tracking systems, and metrics to support leadership visibility and audit readiness
• Develop and configure applications, automated workflows, data structures, and integrations using Microsoft technologies
• Design and manage SQL-based databases and data solutions, including data modeling, migration, cleanup, mapping, and validation
• Configure and administer SharePoint Online and on-premises sites, lists, libraries, permissions, workflows, and document repositories
• Test and deploy solutions, coordinate user acceptance testing, gather feedback, and implement enhancements
• Create technical and user documentation and provide user support and training
• Serve as a client liaison, communicating technical information and ensuring solutions align with operational and mission requirements
• Provide project updates and communicate system status, enhancements, and recommendations to stakeholders

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 1+ years of experience in software development, application development, database development, or a related field
• Strong problem-solving skills and experience analyzing business processes and data to inform solution design
• Experience with SQL, Power BI, and SharePoint
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate and/or Power Apps
• Experience with C#, JavaScript, or PowerShell
• Experience with Azure, Microsoft 365, Dataverse, SQL Server, or Azure SQL
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum, SDLC, requirements analysis, and data governance
• Experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into technical solutions
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Must currently hold or be able to obtain a Department of Defense Secret-level security clearance
• Must be a U.S. citizen as this position is not eligible for Limited Access Authorizations
