Beyond technical delivery, you will be expected to build strong customer relationships and uphold operational excellence, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who leads with both expertise and accountability.\nWhat you will do\nCarry out OpenStack cloud administration, including performance tuning, troubleshooting, resource optimisation, availability zone configuration, tenant management, and host aggregation.\nInstall, configure, monitor, and optimise Linux systems, both physical and virtual, including kernel tuning, LVM management, and the implementation of advanced security measures.\nManage and maintain RHEL, Ubuntu, and CentOS operating systems, ensuring smooth upgrade processes.\nConfigure and troubleshoot networking protocols and services, including TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, VLAN, VXLAN, routing, DNS, DHCP, bridging, and IP Tables.\nOperate hardware management interfaces such as iLO, iDRAC, and CIMC efficiently.\nPerform CEPH storage management activities, including OSD operations and cluster flag adjustments.\nLeverage automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, and Terraform for provisioning and configuration management.\nDevelop automation scripts using Bash and Python to improve operational efficiency and service quality.\nDeploy and manage containerised applications using Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes.\nEnsure compliance with SLAs, ITSM guidelines, operational processes, and industry best practices.\nWork closely with stakeholders to deliver tailored cloud solutions and maintain strong client relationships.\nProvide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to team members.\nDrive continuous improvement across cloud operations, automation, service reliability, and customer delivery.\nYou will bring\nAt least 9 years of professional experience in private cloud technologies, particularly OpenStack and Linux administration.\nExperience in a combined technical and team leadership role.\nRed Hat OpenStack certification, along with RHCSA and RHCE certifications.\nStrong Linux administration expertise, including operating system optimisation, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.\nProficiency in automation scripting using Bash and Python.\nHands-on experience with configuration management and automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, and Terraform.\nWorking knowledge of SDN, NFV concepts, and microservices or container orchestration platforms.\nAdvanced networking knowledge, including network configuration, troubleshooting, performance optimisation, and fault resolution.\nExperience managing hardware interfaces across enterprise systems, including iLO, iDRAC, and CIMC.\nOperational expertise in CEPH storage management.\nStrong understanding of OpenStack components, architecture, resource management, and troubleshooting.\nExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong customer engagement.\nStrong problem-solving and analytical abilities.\nAll academic credentials must be from recognized and accredited institutions and are further subject to verification.”Why join Ericsson?\nAt Ericsson, you´ll have an outstanding opportunity.
