You'll work closely with our customers, contributing to the architectural definition and helping shape the overall infrastructural environment of IT solutions. This role involves understanding and implementing business rules and requirements for customer systems and applications in a recurrent business where specifications are clearly defined. You will guide our development team through the implementation phase, providing architectural rules and standards to the wider project team, and will define the requirements for system deployment, planning, scheduling, and assisting in the release of systems.\nWhat you will do:\nLead the design, architecture, and implementation of complex CI/CD pipelines tailored for automating the provisioning of VMs.\nStrong understanding and technical expertise in public cloud platforms such as AWS and Microsoft Azure.\nUtilize expertise in Jenkins, GitLab, Ansible and Azure DevOps to create efficient and reliable build, test, and deployment processes.\nCollaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to define and execute cutting-edge CI/CD strategies that maximize development velocity and maintain software quality.\nImplement best practices for automated deployments across on-prem and public cloud environments, ensuring consistency and minimizing deployment-related challenges.\nMentor and guide junior team members in building and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines.\nProactively monitor and enhance the performance, scalability, and reliability of existing CI/CD pipelines.\nDevelop and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions using tools like Terraform, ARM Templates and CloudFormation to ensure consistent environments for development and deployment.\nCreate and manage scripts, tools, and utilities to facilitate automated testing, code analysis, and deployment tasks.\nTroubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to build failures, test failures, and deployment errors promptly.\nStay updated with advancements in CI/CD and DevOps practices to enhance on-prem and public cloud-based workflows.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and drive innovative solutions.\nActively participate in code reviews, providing expert insights on code quality, deployment scripts, and CI/CD pipeline configurations.\nThe skills you bring:\nEducation: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).\nExperience: Extensive hands-on experience as a CI/CD Developer, with expertise in:\no Jenkins, GitLab, Ansible, Linux Virtualization, Red Hat Satellite, Shell Scripts, Terraform, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.\no Implementing CI/CD pipelines for on-prem and public cloud-hosted applications.\nStrong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or PowerShell for automation and configuration tasks.\nIn-depth understanding of containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes) in the context of CI/CD.\nExcellent grasp of version control systems (Git) and branching strategies.\nCertifications in DevOps, Linux, Azure, and AWS are a significant advantage.\nSolid knowledge of agile methodologies, DevOps principles, and software development lifecycles.\nExceptional problem-solving skills, adept at diagnosing and resolving complex technical challenges.\nStrong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration within cross-functional teams.\nWhy join Ericsson?
