We are seeking an experienced Compliance Officer to join Market Area Americas, one of Ericsson's largest and most strategically important regions.\nThis role offers a unique opportunity to serve as a trusted advisor and strategic business partner to senior leadership, helping the business navigate complex regulatory, integrity, and operational risks while enabling responsible growth. Working closely with leaders across Compliance, Legal, Security, Finance, Human Resources, Internal Control, and the business, you will influence decisions, strengthen Ericsson's culture of integrity, and help drive sustainable business success.\nWhat you will do:\nServe as a trusted compliance advisor to business and functional leaders, providing practical, risk-based guidance on ethics and compliance matters.\nPartner with leadership teams to identify emerging risks and implement effective mitigation strategies aligned with business objectives.\nLead risk-based compliance activities across assigned business units and legal entities in the United States.\nPromote a culture of integrity, accountability, transparency, and speak-up throughout the organization.\nAdvise on key risk areas including anti-bribery and corruption, anti-money laundering, antitrust, fraud prevention, conflicts of interest, third-party risk, anti-terrorist financing, trade compliance, and human rights.\nConduct compliance risk assessments, monitoring activities, and reviews, partnering with stakeholders to implement practical and sustainable solutions.\nPerform Third-Party Management activities, including implementation and completion of mitigation actions.\nLeverage data, metrics, and risk indicators to identify trends and provide actionable insights to management.\nSupport investigations, remediation efforts, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nDeliver compliance training, communications, and leadership engagement activities to reinforce ethical decision-making.\nCollaborate across Legal, Security, HR, Finance, Internal Control, and business functions to address compliance and regulatory matters.\nSupport compliance due diligence and integration activities related to acquisitions and strategic initiatives.\nPrepare and present compliance updates, risk assessments, and recommendations to management and compliance leadership.\nThe skills you bring\nMinimum of 10 years of experience in compliance, legal, internal audit, investigations, enterprise risk management, financial crime, regulatory affairs, or a related discipline.\nJuris Doctor, Master's degree, or Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, or a related field.\nExperience advising business leaders on risk, compliance, governance, or regulatory matters.\nStrong business judgment with the ability to balance risk management and business priorities.\nExcellent analytical, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.\nDemonstrated ability to influence outcomes across a matrixed organization without direct authority.\nExperience in a multinational or highly regulated environment preferred.\nInternational experience and cultural agility are a plus.\nFluency in English.\nWillingness to travel up to 30%.\nWhy join Ericsson?\nAt Ericsson, you´ll have an outstanding opportunity. Actual bonus payouts are based on performance of the business against the unit’s objectives, individual performance, and the individual bonus target. The Ericsson US 401(k) Plan offers an automatic 3% company contribution and Ericsson match $1 for every $1 you put into the 401(k) Plan on the first 3% of your eligible pay, plus 50 cents on every $1 on the next 2% of eligible pay. When you contribute at least 5% of eligible pay, you are receiving Ericsson’s full matching contributions of 4%. Matching and company automatic contributions stop when your total eligible pay for the year reaches the IRS limits. Employees will also receive company credits in an amount equal to the cost of basic life insurance and basic accidental death and dismemberment coverage, as well as short-term and long-term disability coverage. New employees are provided a minimum of 15 days of accrued vacation, up to 3 personal days per year, 11 annual holidays, 8 hours of volunteer time, and 80 hours of sick time annually.
