In this role, you will implement and validate network changes, maintain core network availability, resolve production issues, and work with customers and internal teams to continuously improve service performance.\nYou will\nImplement, test, and validate backup and restore procedures for multiple Core Network Elements.\nImplement, test, and validate network solutions and system changes to ensure successful deployment.\nTroubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in production environments.\nPerform preventive maintenance to maximize network availability and reliability.\nInvestigate network performance issues and work with customers and internal teams to identify and implement improvements.\nCollaborate with engineering, field operations, and project teams to support service delivery and incident resolution.\nParticipate in customer meetings and provide technical support and recommendations as required.\nPerform security, audit, and operational reporting in accordance with Ericsson managed-services processes.\nPrioritize assigned tasks and complete work within agreed timelines and service commitments.\nParticipate in after-hours support and on-call activities as required.\nTo be successful in this role, you must have\nTechnical competencies\nA degree or equivalent experience in telecommunications, information technology, computer engineering, or a related field.\nAt least five years of experience in telecommunications, IT operations, or network engineering.\nUnderstanding of LTE/5G Core network architecture and topology.\nKnowledge of EPC network elements, including MME, HSS, SGW, PGW, PCRF/SAPC, UDC/CUDB, and DNS/IPWorks; knowledge of 5G Core elements is an advantage.\nKnowledge of IP networking fundamentals, IS-IS, OSPF, BGP, and telecommunications protocols including S1AP, SCTP, GTP, Diameter, and LDAP.\nExperience with Linux operating systems, common command-line tools, Kubernetes, and containerized applications.\nExperience with Cisco, Juniper, Ericsson, or similar networking equipment.\nProven ability to troubleshoot technical issues in production environments.\nCCNA, CCNP, RHCSA, or similar certifications are valued.\nProfessional competencies\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nGood written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical matters clearly.\nAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.\nCustomer-focused approach and the ability to manage operational incidents under pressure.\nStrong ownership, prioritization, and delivery focus to achieve service, quality, and SLA objectives.\nWillingness to participate in after-hours support and on-call activities.\nAdditional experience that would be an advantage\nExperience supporting Ericsson Core Network products.\nBasic scripting or automation skills using Shell, Python, or similar tools.\nExposure to F5 load balancers, firewalls, and IP security.\nUnderstanding of Ericsson eNodeB/gNodeB or Mini-Link platforms.\nWhat happens once you apply?Click Here to find all you need to know about what our typical hiring process looks like.We encourage you to consider applying to jobs where you might not meet all the criteria.
