You will provide deep technical expertise, lead complex investigations, support customers, and improve operational performance, processes, and service quality.\nYou will\nProvide technical support across packet-core, IP, security, and infrastructure environments.\nInvestigate and resolve complex hardware, software, performance, and service issues in live networks.\nLead incident investigations with customers, system design, support, front-office, project, and field teams.\nPrepare and validate implementation proposals, corrective actions, system changes, and preventive maintenance activities.\nRepresent Ericsson in technical customer meetings and contribute to network-performance improvements.\nSupport service, incident, customer, project, process, security, audit, and operational reporting activities.\nCoach less-experienced engineers and promote consistent operational practices.\nPrioritize work and make timely decisions that protect service quality, availability, and SLA commitments.\nParticipate in emergency call-out and 24x7 support rotations as required.\nTo be successful in this role, you must have\nA degree or equivalent experience in telecommunications, information technology, computer engineering, or a related field.\nAt least five years of experience in telecommunications, IT operations, network engineering, or a similar environment.\nStrong knowledge of LTE and dual-mode core networks, packet-core elements, signaling, and network topology.\nUnderstanding of LTE protocols, including IP, S1AP, SCTP, GTP, Diameter, LDAP, and SOAP.\nStrong TCP/IP and routing knowledge, including MPLS, OSPF, BGP, IS-IS, EVPN, GRE, VRRP, and QoS.\nExperience troubleshooting routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and Linux-based systems.\nExcellent knowledge of Kubernetes architecture and operations in a core-network environment.\nExperience with Cisco technologies; knowledge of Juniper, Ericsson-Redback, F5, Wireshark, or MRTG is an advantage.\nProven complex-problem-solving ability and strong written and spoken English communication skills.\nCustomer focus, analytical thinking, planning, collaboration, and the ability to perform under pressure.\nWillingness to work shifts, on-call assignments, and other hours required by the operation.\nLeadership and operational excellence\nDemonstrates deep technical expertise and guides teams through complex issues.\nCommunicates clearly with engineers, management, and customers.\nBuilds team capability through mentoring, constructive feedback, and development support.\nMakes timely, evidence-based decisions during incidents and operational challenges.\nOwns outcomes, manages priorities, and ensures service, quality, and SLA objectives are achieved.\nAdditional experience that would be an advantage\nExperience with Ericsson core-network solutions, Mini-Link TN, LTE/5G eNodeB or gNodeB environments.\nKnowledge of TCP/IP WAN configuration, capacity planning, and managed-services operations.\nScripting or programming experience in Unix shell, Perl, C++, or Visual Basic.\nWhat happens once you apply?Click Here to find all you need to know about what our typical hiring process looks like.We encourage you to consider applying to jobs where you might not meet all the criteria.
