The role offers exposure to Finance, Accounting, Commercial, Operations, and transformation teams while addressing complex business challenges through technology, automation, and data science.\nInterns will work in a fast-paced telecom environment shaped by emerging technologies, Network APIs, competition, and industry transformation. Working with Finance and cross-functional teams, you will build intelligent data solutions, improve data quality and governance, automate reporting, and develop AI-driven insights that enable faster, more informed business decisions.\nData Engineering & Governance\nBuild, maintain, and optimize data pipelines using SQL, Python, and automation tools.\nImprove data quality, governance, documentation, reporting standards, and metric definitions.\nParticipating in discussion with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions. \nAI, Automation & Advanced Analytics\nApply AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics to generate predictive and actionable insights.\nDevelop AI agents and automation solutions to streamline reporting and decision support.\nIdentify opportunities to improve efficiency, forecast accuracy, and business performance through data-driven innovation. \nFinance Analytics & Reporting\nSupport Period End Closing (PEC) quality checks, reconciliations, and financial performance analysis.\nBuild financial models, forecasts, and business cases to support decision-making.\nDevelop Power BI dashboards and self-service analytics to drive business insights. \nBusiness Partnership & Communication\nPrepare executive-ready insights, presentations, and recommendations for finance leadership.\nPartner with cross-functional teams to support transformation initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.\nYou will bring:\nPursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline.\nStrong academic record and/or relevant internship, project, or research experience in finance, analytics, data, or business intelligence.\nProficiency in SQL, Python, Excel, and Power BI (or similar BI/reporting tools).\nExposure to AI/ML, predictive analytics, automation, or Generative AI is a plus.\nFamiliarity with cloud analytics platforms, APIs, Power Query, DAX, Azure, Fabric, or Databricks is desirable but not required.\nUnderstanding of ETL/ELT, data pipelines, data quality, data modeling, and reporting concepts.\nInterest in financial analysis, reporting, forecasting, automation, and data-driven decision-making.\nUnderstanding financial reporting, planning, forecasting, variance analysis, and business performance metrics.\nAbility to translate data into actionable business insights while maintaining strong attention to accuracy, governance, and controls.\nAnalytical mindset with the ability to solve ambiguous business problems.\nStrong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to present technical and business insights clearly.\nDemonstrated curiosity, ownership, adaptability, integrity, and a continuous learning mindset.\nEffective collaborator with strong analytical, problem-solving, and results-oriented capabilities.\nEligibility requirements:\n2.7+ GPA on a 4.0 scale or equivalent\nAvailable for a full-time internship for 12 week\nActively enrolled in an accredited undergraduate, master’s, or PhD on a full-time basis at a four-year college or university at the time of the co-op\nWhy join Ericsson?\nAt Ericsson, you´ll have an outstanding opportunity.
