The Strategy & Operations (StrOps) team supports organizational strategy, operational efficiency, financial stewardship, and execution excellence.\nWe are looking for an AI-focused Data Analyst to transform operational data into actionable insights that support leadership decisions. You will develop dashboards, forecasts, and analytical models while leveraging AI and automation to improve how information is collected, analyzed, and communicated.\nThis role combines strong analytical capabilities, practical AI skills, and an understanding of engineering operations.\nWhat you will do:\nDevelop and maintain leadership dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI or equivalent platforms.\nBuild and automate data pipelines that integrate information from multiple systems, ensuring data quality and consistency.\nAnalyze resource utilization, headcount, budgets, and operational performance to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.\nDevelop forecasts and scenario models to support resource planning, investment decisions, and execution predictability.\nApply AI/ML techniques, including LLMs and AI agents, to automate reporting, information retrieval, analysis, and operational workflows.\nIdentify opportunities to simplify data collection, reduce manual effort, and improve the efficiency of operational processes.\nTranslate complex data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for engineering and leadership stakeholders.\nWhat you will bring\nMasters degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.\n3-5 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or related analytical roles.\nProficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis, scripting, and automation.\nHands-on experience with data visualization, data modeling, and reporting tools such as Power BI.\nPractical experience applying AI/ML technologies, including LLMs, AI-assisted analysis, or intelligent workflow automation.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to work with complex, inconsistent data from multiple sources.\nAbility to communicate analytical findings clearly to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.\nPreferred Qualifications\nPh.D. degree in a relevant technical or analytical discipline.\nExperience in semiconductor, hardware, R&D, or other complex engineering environments.\nFamiliarity with AI frameworks, LLM APIs, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), or agent-based automation.\nExperience with financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, or resource planning.\nExperience improving operational reporting or analytics processes across multiple teams or locations.\nDemonstrated initiative in identifying and implementing data-driven process improvements.\nWhat happens once you apply?\nClick Here to find all you need to know about what our typical hiring process looks like.\nEricsson uses a merit-based hiring approach that values people with different experiences, perspectives and skillsets.
