Ericsson also does not hire F-1’s working on CPT or EAD for this position. \nEricsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions is seeking a skilled Snowflake Data Engineer to support the development of modern analytics solutions within our data platform. This contractor role will focus on the Analytics Development Lifecycle, primarily using dbt Cloud for ELT processes in a modern data stack. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in SQL, modular data modeling, and data transformation best practices, with a proven ability to design and implement scalable solutions in Snowflake. As the role advances, additional focus will move to developing data pipelines from extraction and loading to transformation.\nWhat you will do\nTranslate business requirements into technical specifications for analytics solutions.\nDesign, build, and maintain data models, transformations, and pipelines using dbt Cloud and Snowflake.\nDevelop and optimize SQL queries for performance and scalability.\nImplement ELT workflows leveraging version control (Git) and software development best practices.\nParticipate in all phases of the Analytics Development Lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment.\nCreate and maintain documentation for functional requirements and technical specifications.\nPerform unit testing, peer code reviews, and ensure adherence to coding standards.\nSupport code promotion and environment synchronization activities.\nCollaborate with stakeholders to integrate business logic into data models and reporting solutions.\nDevelop custom Python scripts for data extraction and transformation from APIs, SFTP, and semi-structured sources.\nApply advanced knowledge of data warehousing concepts (Star Schema, Facts & Dimensions, OLAP design).\nEnsure compliance with Agile methodologies and participate in sprint planning and reviews.\nThe skills you bring\nAdvanced SQL skills with hands-on Snowflake experience.\nStrong experience with dbt Cloud/Core and modular data modeling.\nProficiency in Python for data manipulation and integration tasks.\nFamiliarity with APIs, SFTP, and semi-structured data formats (JSON, XML).\nExperience with Git-based source control and collaborative development workflows.\nSolid understanding of data warehousing principles, including slowly changing dimensions and bridge tables.\nExposure to cloud environments (AWS or Azure).\nStrong communication and documentation skills; ability to work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.\nNice to Have\nExperience with BI tools and visualization concepts.\nFamiliarity with SaaS-based data platforms.\nKnowledge of Pandas or similar Python libraries for data wrangling\nWhy join Ericsson?\nAt Ericsson, you´ll have an outstanding opportunity.
