Through our strategic partnership with Google Cloud, we are breaking new ground-enabling Ericsson Core Network Services, starting with 5G DMC, to be deployed at hyperscaler scale.\nLaunched earlier in 2025, Ericsson On-Demand is rapidly evolving from incubation to commercial readiness and is now preparing for trials to meet growing market demand.\nAs part of this journey, we are evolving Ericsson Signaling Controller, including DEA (Diameter Edge Agent) and SEPP (Security Edge Protection Proxy) capabilities, into cloud-native SaaS offerings running on Google Cloud. Ericsson Signaling Controller plays a critical role in enabling secure roaming, signaling control, and interconnectivity across 4G and 5G networks, supporting communication between operators worldwide.\nYou will have the opportunity to shape how signaling services are designed, developed, and operated in a public cloud environment. By combining telecom expertise with cloud-native technologies, automation, and DevSecOps practices, you will help build the next generation of scalable, resilient, and secure signaling solutions for Ericsson customers.\nWe are looking for multiple individuals who are passionate about software engineering, cloud technologies, and telecommunications, and who want to drive the industry's transition towards SaaS-based network services.\nCome and join us and lead the industry change!\nWhat you will do:\nDrive the end-to-end development lifecycle of Ericsson Signaling Controller services, including DEA and SEPP\nDesign, develop, test, deploy, and operate cloud-native applications running on Google Cloud\nContribute to the evolution of secure signaling and roaming solutions for 4G and 5G networks\nDevelop and enhance automation, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment frameworks to support SaaS operations\nImplement monitoring, observability, and reliability capabilities to ensure high service availability and performance\nCollaborate with architects, product teams, and operations teams in a Lean, Agile, and DevSecOps environment\nContinuously improve scalability, security, operational efficiency, and customer experience\nExplore and apply new technologies and cloud-native best practices to accelerate innovation\nThe skills you bring:\nStrong understanding of 4G and 5G Core Network architecture, signaling, and roaming concepts\nExperience with signaling products or technologies such as Signaling Controller, DEA, DRA, SEPP, SCP, or Diameter routing\nSolid programming skills in Go and/or C/C++\nExperience with cloud-native development using Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices architectures\nExperience working with public cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP)\nKnowledge of CI/CD practices, GitHub, GitHub Actions, and infrastructure automation\nUnderstanding of network security concepts and secure inter-operator communications\nStrong problem-solving skills and a passion for continuous learning\nAbility to work effectively in collaborative, cross-functional, and global teams\nWhy join Ericsson?
