The platform is migrating from PHP to Kotlin/Spring Boot - new development is exclusively in Kotlin.\nTeam eStart develops Ericsson's internal self-service portal for R&D IT infrastructure - an internal marketplace where service providers publish infrastructure services (virtual machines, network configurations, storage, DNS, etc.) and service consumers order and manage instances of those services. Every R&D team that needs infrastructure goes through eStart.\nWhat you will do:\nDesign and implement frontend features using Angular (16+), Material, TypeScript, and RxJS.\nImplement backend services using Java/Spring Boot, Kotlin, Hibernate, and MySQL, contributing to API development, integrations, and database changes under architectural guidance.\nContribute to platform modernization, participating in the migration from PHP to Kotlin microservices.\nBreak down requirements into user stories, refine acceptance criteria, and clarify scope with stakeholders.\nUse AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to enhance productivity and code quality.\nWrite and maintain automated tests to support reliable delivery and safe refactoring.\nPromote Agile and DevSecOps ways of working, including PI planning, retrospectives, and continuous improvement.\nCollaborate with other A&O teams, Product Owners, and Service Delivery Managers to ensure high-quality delivery.\nThe skills you bring:\n2+ years of professional fullstack development experience\nDegree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field - or equivalent practical experience\nStrong frontend skills with Angular (16+).\nBackend experience with Java, Spring Boot, or Kotlin, including RESTful APIs, system integrations, and relational databases.\nProficiency in Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu) and tooling such as GitLab, JIRA, and Confluence.\nExperience with or strong interest in AI-powered development tools.\nExperience with Agile/DevSecOps (Scrum/Kanban), cross-functional teams, and continuous improvement.\nStrong collaboration skills; able to work effectively within a self-organizing team in a complex stakeholder landscape.\nEagerness to learn, grow, and take on increasing responsibility over time.\nFluency in English, both oral and written.\nEricsson Hungary does not provide relocation support or sponsor HU work authorizations for this position.\nWhy join Ericsson?
