In this role, you will help ensure the completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of intercompany and general accounting transactions across legal entities for Vonage.\nYou will contribute to the integrity of consolidated financial statements by performing reconciliations, supporting period-end close, accounting for payables and receivables, and maintaining reliable financial records in accordance with IFRS, SOX requirements, Vonage Business Processes, internal accounting policies, and applicable local regulations.\nThis is an opportunity for an analytical and proactive accounting professional who enjoys working across countries, currencies, systems, and stakeholders to solve complex accounting matters and deliver high-quality results under strict deadlines.\nWhat you will do\nManage intercompany accounting activities across global legal entities, ensuring transactions are complete, accurate, properly supported, and recorded on time.\nPrepare, validate, document, and process Journal Vouchers through FIORI and SAP, including required approvals and communication of document numbers.\nPerform general ledger account reconciliations and follow up on reconciling items through resolution.\nAdminister reconciliation activities, including accusatory checks and data gathering from the Reconciliation Due Page and related tools.\nSupport monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities in accordance with corporate deadlines and accounting policies.\nAnalyze foreign exchange impacts on intercompany balances and financial statements in a multi-currency, international environment.\nAccount for selected payables, receivables, equity-related transactions, and other general accounting activities.\nMaintain accurate supporting documentation and ensure compliance with IFRS, SOX, Vonage Business Processes, and internal controls.\nSupport internal and external audits by preparing schedules, evidence, explanations, and timely responses.\nContribute to the accuracy and continuous improvement of financial records, processes, and reconciliation tools.\nWork closely with colleagues across Finance and the wider Group to resolve issues, improve efficiency, and maintain strong business partnerships.\nThe skills you bring\nAcademic degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or an equivalent discipline.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills in English.\nGood knowledge of intercompany accounting and general ledger accounting.\nExperience with account reconciliations, journal entries, period-end close, and financial reporting activities.\nStrong analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate complex accounting situations and translate data into actionable recommendations.\nSolid understanding of foreign exchange impacts on financial statements within a multi-currency organization.\nExperience with SAP and/or FIORI is valuable; familiarity with reconciliation tools is an advantage.\nUnderstanding of IFRS, internal controls, SOX, audit support, and accounting policies.\nKnowledge of financial processes, directives, taxation, statistical reporting, and financial analysis.\nStrong attention to detail, financial acumen, organization, and accountability.\nProactive problem-solving mindset and the ability to manage priorities in a deadline-driven environment.\nCollaborative attitude and the ability to build effective relationships across countries and functions.\nWhy join Ericsson?
