In this role, you will be the primary custodian of privacy and GDPR compliance across our internal IT environments. You will safeguard our information assets by embedding Privacy-by-Design principles into our tools and workflows, managing risk, and maintaining alignment with global privacy laws, standards, and corporate regulations.\nThis role requires a dedicated privacy professional who can confidently influence senior stakeholders, optimize privacy processes, and deliver high-impact awareness programs across Enterprise IT. You will build critical relationships across Group Security, Corporate Audit, Group Legal, and the Group Data Privacy Officer (GPDO), acting as a trusted advisor to IT system and service owners.\nKey Responsibilities\nPrivacy Leadership: Provide strategic direction and guidance on all GDPR and privacy-related matters within Enterprise IT.\nPrivacy Impact Assessments: Oversee and ensure comprehensive Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs/DPIAs) are performed for all internal IT systems, automation frameworks, and cloud services.\nStakeholder Management: Manage relationships with key business and technical stakeholders to ensure organizational commitment to data privacy initiatives.\nIncident & Request Response: Provide operational guidance for the execution of Subject Access Requests (SAR) and Data Privacy Breach management processes.\nAudits & Governance: Act as the privacy subject matter expert during IT security assessments, lead privacy compliance audits, and utilize internal review outcomes to drive continuous improvement plans.\nTraining & Awareness: Design, develop, and deliver targeted data privacy training and awareness programs to technical and operational groups within Enterprise IT.\nGlobal Representation: Represent the Enterprise IT division in global Ericsson Privacy forums and collaborative working groups.\nKey Qualifications\nEducation: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Information Security, Law, or equivalent practical experience.\nCore Privacy Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of dedicated, hands-on experience managing Data Privacy and GDPR compliance frameworks.\nTotal Professional Experience: 5-8 years of total experience working within corporate risk, compliance, IT governance, or information security environments.\nDomain Expertise: Strong mastery of GDPR, Privacy-by-Design, Data Inventory/Mapping, and Data Governance, with a solid supporting knowledge of information security standards (ISO 27001, ISO 27701, ISO 27018, ISO/IEC 42001).\nPreferred Certifications: IAPP certifications are highly preferred (CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT, AIGP) or CDPSE. Secondary certifications like CISSP, CISM, CISA, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer are considered a strong plus.\nAdditional Requirements\nMultidisciplinary Approach: Ability to evaluate and discuss Privacy/GDPR requirements across legal, risk, operational, and technical spectrums.\nTeam Leadership: Experience guiding cross-functional teams through complex compliance initiatives.\nCommunication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex privacy requirements in simple, actionable terms.\nA dynamic, self-motivated, positive, and innovative approach to problem-solving.\n“All academic credentials must be from recognized and accredited institutions and are further subject to verification.”\nWhy join Ericsson?
