You will design and execute functional and performance tests, identify and track defects, validate test environments and data, and help ensure that our solutions are ready for reliable production releases.\nYour contribution will be key to improving test coverage, reducing production defects, and enabling stable and timely releases.\nWhat you will do\nAnalyze functional requirements and scenarios and design effective IT test cases.\n\nPlan, design, and execute functional and performance testing activities.\n\nDevelop and maintain performance test scripts and perform related unit testing.\n\nExecute manual and automated test cases using specified testing tools and report test results.\n\nPrepare, validate, and maintain test environments, test data, and testing scenarios.\n\nTroubleshoot IT applications and investigate issues identified during testing.\n\nIdentify, document, and track defects using relevant defect management tools.\n\nRetest resolved defects and manage the defect lifecycle from identification through closure.\n\nCollaborate closely with development teams to analyze issues, follow up on fixes, and ensure timely resolution.\n\nContribute to improving test coverage, testing efficiency, automation, and overall QA processes.\n\nSupport stable and reliable software releases by proactively identifying quality risks.\n\nYou will bring\nExperience in software testing, quality assurance, or a related IT testing role.\n\nGood understanding of software testing methodologies, processes, and the defect lifecycle.\n\nExperience in designing and executing functional test cases.\n\nKnowledge of performance testing concepts and preferably experience with performance test scripting.\n\nExperience with test management and defect tracking tools.\n\nUnderstanding of test environment preparation and test data validation.\n\nStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to investigate complex application issues.\n\nA detail-oriented and quality-focused mindset.\n\nGood communication and collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with development and cross-functional teams.\n\nAbility to take ownership of testing activities and follow issues through to resolution.\n\nA proactive approach to continuous improvement and an interest in improving testing processes and quality practices.\n\nWhy join Ericsson?
