This role combines core Java development and automation expertise with practical use of AI to increase development efficiency, improve product features, and enable AI-driven workflows. You will work closely with architects, product owners, cross-functional teams to design, implement, test and operate high-quality, cloud-native services that incorporate AI where it brings clear value to our products.\nWhat you will do:\nDesign, implement and maintain backend services and microservices in Java (Spring Boot preferred).\nDevelop, maintain and enhance automation across the product lifecycle: CI/CD pipelines, test automation, verification and deployment.\nIntegrate AI capabilities into development workflows and product features - for example, using LLMs for code generation, automated testing, documentation, or product-specific intelligent agents.\nWrite clean, maintainable, well-documented code with strong unit and integration test coverage; participate in TDD/BDD practices.\nParticipate in design reviews, code reviews and knowledge sharing;\nCollaborate with other developers and team to improve productivity and product quality.\nEnsure reliability, observability and security of AI-driven and automated workflows; follow best practices for data protection.\nThe skills you bring:\nProgramming experience in Java\nHands-on experience with automation, CI/CD, and deployment automation.\nExperience integrating APIs, microservices, and working with databases;\nGood debugging, problem solving and software engineering skills; experience writing unit and integration tests.\nUnderstanding of cloud-native patterns and containerization concepts.\nAccountable, Good communication skills and ability to collaborate in cross-functional, Agile teams.\nAdvanced/Fluent English.\nNice to have\nPractical experience or familiarity with LLMs and AI frameworks\nExperience with Docker and Kubernetes in production.\nFamiliarity with multi-agent systems or building intelligent agents for task automation.\nFamiliarity with RESTful API design and design patterns.\nExposure to TDD/BDD.\nWhy you’ll enjoy this role\nOpportunity to shape how AI is applied across real products and operational workflows.\nWork in a collaborative, Agile environment focused on continuous improvement and innovation.\nReal impact: reduce manual work through automation and build features that deliver measurable customer value.\nIf you are a pragmatic Java engineer who is passionate about development and eager to apply AI practically to improve developer productivity and product functionality, we’d like to hear from you.\nWork model: Hybrid in Indaiatuba or São Paulo\nWhy join Ericsson?
