Ericsson also does not hire F-1's working on CPT or EAD for this position.\nRAN Site Construction & Engineering Operations Intern\nLocation: Plano, TX\nDuration: 12 weeks\nStart Date: May 25, 2027\nAbout this opportunity:\nWe are seeking a motivated intern to support our RAN Site Construction & Engineering Operations team. This role provides hands-on experience in the operational planning and execution of multi-site cellular network deployments.\nThe intern will help optimize workflows, track project schedules, manage documentation, coordinate logistics, and prepare progress reports. Working with engineering, construction, field operations, project management, vendors, and subcontractors, the intern will help identify bottlenecks and improve project efficiency.\nWhat you will do:\nMaintain project trackers, schedules, milestone reports, and action-item lists for multi-site RAN deployments.\nMonitor site progress from planning and engineering through construction, installation, closeout, and handoff.\nCollect status updates from engineering teams, field crews, vendors, and subcontractors.\nPrepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports summarizing progress, milestones, risks, delays, and upcoming activities.\nOrganize and maintain project documentation, including site records, drawings, scopes of work, material lists, photographs, and closeout packages.\nSupport logistics for equipment, materials, site access, workforce scheduling, and deployment activities.\nHelp identify workflow bottlenecks, missing information, schedule conflicts, and operational risks.\nAssist teams in developing and implementing process improvements.\nCoordinate meetings and document decisions, action items, owners, and deadlines.\nVerify that project records are complete, accurate, current, and stored according to established procedures.\nDevelop spreadsheets, dashboards, and other tools to improve project visibility.\nEscalate delays, documentation gaps, and coordination issues to the appropriate project lead.\nFollow company, customer, quality, confidentiality, and safety requirements.\nJoin our Team\nThe skills you bring:\nWorking towards a Bachelors or Masters degree in:\nElectrical, telecommunications, wireless, computer, systems, or industrial engineering\nCivil or construction engineering\nComputer science\nInformation systems or information technology\nData analytics\nOperations or supply-chain management\nBusiness administration\nConstruction management\nProject management\nLogistics\nOther disciplines that demonstrate analytical, organizational, or technical capability\nStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities\nProficiency with spreadsheets, databases, or basic programming (Python, scripting)\nClear written and verbal communication\nAbility to work in cross-functional teams and adapt to dynamic environments\nFamiliarity with project management, data analysis, or IT operations (preferred but not required)\nComfort learning telecommunications concepts and technical tools\nSkills You Will Learn\nTelecommunications infrastructure, RAN architecture, and network deployment fundamentals\nRF principles, network optimization techniques, and performance metrics\nConstruction project workflows, site logistics, and operational best practices\nProject and program management tools, methodologies, and governance\nAutomation frameworks, scripting, and tools relevant to network operations\nData analysis and visualization for network performance and operational insights\nCross-functional collaboration in a complex, regulated industry\nWhy join Ericsson?\nAt Ericsson, you´ll have an outstanding opportunity.
