Ability to accept and deliver assistance to meet deadlines, self-directed, organized, capable of multi-tasking and willing to shift priorities to meet business.\nWhat you will do:\nPlan and execute Packet Core upgrades (SGSN-MME, AMF, SMF, UPF,CCPC,SAPC,WMG,EPG 3.x)\nPerform pre-checks, health checks, and post-upgrade validations.\nExecute software installation, patching, and traffic migration activities.\nEnsure service continuity during maintenance windows and traffic cutovers.\nTroubleshoot integration and post-upgrade issues across network elements.\nWork closely with Solution Architects, Design, and Operations teams.\nSupport rollback planning and execution in case of failures.\nMaintain and update Method of Procedure (MoP) and documentation.\nAutomate repetitive tasks using scripting (Python/Shell preferred).\nEnsure compliance with customer SLAs and quality standards.\nThe skills you bring:\nTotal years of experience - 3 to 11 yrs\nStrong knowledge of 4G EPC & 5G Core architecture. \nHands-on experience with: MME / SGW / PGW/ AMF / SMF / UPF / PCF\nLinux/Unix systems.\nVirtualization / Cloud (OpenStack, Kubernetes).\nCI/CD tools (optional but preferred).\nLog analysis and tracing tools.\nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills.\nAbility to work in high-pressure maintenance windows.\nGood stakeholder communication and coordination.\nCustomer-facing experience preferred.\nSuccessful execution of upgrade activities with zero/low service impact.\nAccurate and timely reporting & documentation.\nReduction in manual effort via automation.\nImproved network stability post upgrades.\nWhy join Ericsson?
