As part of the Romanian Payroll Hub, you will help ensure payroll and related activities are delivered accurately, on time, and in line with Italian legislation, internal controls, and Ericsson policies. This role is well suited to someone with a solid payroll and accounting mindset who enjoys working with data, processes, and stakeholders in an international environment.\nWhat you will do\nRun payroll operations for Italy in line with legal requirements, internal policies, and service levels\nCalculate payroll components such as overtime, vacation balances, prorated pay, retro pay, shift differentials, pensions, insurance, flexible benefits, and labour accounting items\nSupport year-end tax and accounting activities, including amendments and reconciliations\nHandle activities related to Italian employer taxation\nMonitor accounting flows and perform related reconciliations\nValidate payroll inputs and help ensure accurate payroll processing, reporting, and submissions\nContribute to SOX compliance and other payroll control activities\nProvide payroll process expertise and support internal stakeholders and the external payroll provider\nWork closely with colleagues in Romania and Italy on payroll delivery, transitions, and continuous improvement initiatives\nSupport process improvements and automation opportunities that strengthen efficiency and quality\nWhat you will bring\nExperience in payroll processing, ideally with exposure to Italian payroll legislation\nFluency in Italian and English, written and spoken\nA strong numerical and accounting-oriented mindset\nGood Excel skills, including confidence working with formulas and payroll-related data\nExperience working with payroll systems; SAP or Zucchetti knowledge is a plus\nStrong communication skills and confidence working with remote stakeholders\nHigh attention to detail, accuracy, and compliance\nGood planning, time management, and organizational skills\nAnalytical thinking, problem solving, and a proactive approach\nAbility to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team\nA Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field is a plus\nWhy join Ericsson?
