Core network engineering, which is an integral part of BCSS, is expanding in our Krakow R&D unit to further contribute to the evolution of 5G core network products.\nTo support and enable service providers with their transition from to cloud native software and automated operations, we are looking for a Developer to join our Portal development team.\nRole is based in Krakow, 3 days in office is required.\nYou will be responsible\nThis is a developer role for Packet Core Portal development: developing Portal and relevant tools for Packet Core development flow\nMaintain and usage of large database storing development flow information\nContinuous Integration with improvement, and maintenance.\nMonitoring and supporting the operation of Poral during the development flow.\nThe setup, maintenance and user education for Portal products\nWe are focusing on automation of our workflows to become more efficient and get an easy-to-use environment.\nQualifications and skills you will need:\n Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field or equivalent experience\nFamiliar with Web developing technology, Drupal platform knowledge and experience is preferred\nGood scripting experience in PHP, Python and shell scripts\nInternet protocol and security (SSL, HTTP, HTTPS, Certificates)\nDatabase schema design and usage, MySQL experience is preferrence\nGood experience in Linux/Unix systems, as well as the compiling and build system\nKnowledge and development experience of API based system\nKnowledge of Continuous Integration system (Jenkins, Spinnaker, Mason2, Ansible) structure and usage\nGood knowledge of version control systems, such as Git/Gerrit/Gitlab,\nFamiliar with Application Lifecycle Management system, like requirement management, TR/CR management system etc\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills\nExcellent written and verbal English communication skills.\nAdditional skills that you may have:\nKnowledge of the development programming languages, Java, Node.js, C++, XML\nKnowledge of Free Open-Source Software, its principles, and licenses\nFamiliar with IS/IT. Knowledge in how to configure, install, maintain, and update the hardware, operation systems, software, and network interfaces to be able to coordinate activities with Ericssons IS/IT organization\nFamiliar with Ericsson BCSS R&D Release Process, Tools, and Environments. \nWhy join Ericsson?
