As a Principal Wi-Fi Firmware Architect, you will own the complete WiFi firmware architecture, drive integration strategy, and provide technical leadership across Wi-Fi software, hardware interfaces, and platform components. WiFi), scalability, and network efficiency, this is your opportunity to make a direct impact in a dynamic, high-tech environment.\nWhat you will do:\nDesign, develop, and maintain firmware for networking routers featuring WiFi capabilities\nWork closely with hardware engineers to bring up new products and support custom hardware features.\nImplement and optimize Layer 2/3 networking protocols, traffic management, and routing features.\nDevelop and maintain Linux-based embedded systems, including bootloaders, kernel modules, and device drivers.\nContribute to the integration of open-source platforms such as OpenWRT or Yocto into production firmware.\nAnalyze and troubleshoot issues across hardware, firmware, and software layers to ensure system stability and tune the system for performance.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams including software developers, QA, and product managers to define and deliver features.\nStay current with networking technologies, standards, and best practices, and apply them to product development.\nThe skills you bring:\n15+ years of Wi-Fi experience with architectural ownership\nA strong foundation in programming, predominantly Python and C.\nStrong knowledge of Linux operating systems, including device drivers, shell scripting and system-level concepts.\nUnderstanding of computer networking fundamentals (e.g., IP/TCP/UDP, Ethernet, routing and switching).\nExposure to embedded platforms such as ARM-based SoCs, microcontrollers, or development boards.\nGood knowledge of 802.11 standards (WiFi 5/6/6E/7), WAP2/WAP3-Enterprise, 802.1X/EAP, etc.\nGood knowledge of Linux WiFi stack and daemons like hostapd\nHave worked on MAC layer, PHY interaction, rate control algorithms, power management and security features\nHave integrated WiFi SoCs from leading vendors (eg.
