You will help design radio products that become part of Ericsson's portfolio deployed in Japan and globally, contributing to Ericsson's Technology Leadership.\nAs a Hardware Integration Engineer in PEU Radio, you are responsible for making the radio hardware work as a complete system - by integrating boards, modules, software, and verifying that the product meets technical, regulatory, and functional requirements.\nThis role is hands-on, ideal for engineers who enjoy solving complex measurements and verification challenges, and want to grow their careers in an innovative, collaborative, and forward-learning organization. You will be part of a global R&D network in chosen areas of interest with access to Ericsson's leading technology.\nYou will be directly involved in the development of Ericsson's next generation of radio network products, contributing to system design understanding and end-to-end performance validation.\nIf you are motivated by technical depth, problem-solving, and cross-functional teamwork - and you want to be part of a company building the future of radio technology - this is the role for you.\nJoin our Team\nWhat you will do:\nParticipate in design and development of future radio systems, from research prototypes to product development and field supportWork hands-on in the lab with advanced instrumentation\nIntegrate radio HW boards, modules, and nodes into a working radio system\nEnsure HW works together with ASICs, FPGAs, RF chains, power, and mechanics\nSupport early integration to detect system issues as early as possible\nSecure and optimize the radio unit's functionality and RF performance to be as good as possible\nIntegrate radio HW modules, boards, and nodes at system level\nExecute and drive HW and system-level verification and troubleshooting\nSupport node integration, lab bring-up, and field environment readiness\nAct as a cross-functional technical interface between design, verification, and projects\nCollaborate closely with system architects, software teams, vendors, and operators to meet performance, reliability, and manufacturability targets\nInvestigate and resolve field system issues, drive improvement activities\nShare knowledge and mentor junior engineers; participate in cross-functional teams in an Agile environment\nThe skills you bring:\nWe welcome experienced / senior engineers seeking technical leadership opportunities. Typical skills and background include:\nDegree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication or similar technical education (Master's preferred)\nStrong technical understanding of Radio HW and SW architectures\nRF and radio expertise such as RF measurement techniques, instrument handling, wireless systems and Digital Signal Analysis\nGood programming skills (C/C++, Python, MATLAB or similar)\nYou are curious to learn and grow in the area of radio product development\nSelf-driven and solution-oriented with ability to learn and innovate\nTeam player with strong collaboration and communication skills\nKnowledge of baseband and radio product concepts and relevant standards (3GPP/ETSI/CE/FCC/Telec)\nStrong troubleshooting skills, curiosity and a practical, problem-solving attitude\nComfortable working in Lean/Agile processes and driving continuous improvement\nResilient with a service-minded and quality-focused approach\nAbility to work effectively in English; capability to collaborate in Japanese is a strong advantage\nWhy join Ericsson?
