The company’s global headquarters are in Stockholm, Sweden, and its North American headquarters are in Dallas, Texas.\nWhat you will do:\nCollaborate with security stakeholders to identify manual, repetitive, or time-consuming tasks suitable for automation or AI augmentation\nDesign and implement lightweight tools, scripts, and workflows to automate data collection, correlation, and reporting for security operations\nPrototype AI agents (e.g., chatbots, decision-support tools) that assist with security investigations, documentation, and routine queries\nIntegrate automation solutions with existing systems and data sources where feasible (e.g., ticketing systems, monitoring tools, internal dashboards)\nDocument designs, code, and usage instructions to ensure solutions can be operated and maintained by the security team\nContribute to metrics and dashboards that show efficiency gains and impact from automation and AI tools\nDeveloping and deploying Agentic solutions\nParticipate in regular check-ins and demos to present progress, gather feedback, and refine implementations \nYou will bring:\nCurrently enrolled as an undergraduate student in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a closely related technical field\nSolid programming skills\nFamiliarity with APIs, scripting, and automation frameworks (for example, using Python libraries, REST APIs, or workflow automation tools)\nBasic understanding of AI/ML concepts and practical experience using AI libraries, frameworks, or APIs (e.g., working with language models or simple classifiers)\nStrong problem-solving mindset, with the ability to break down complex tasks into smaller, automatable components\nGood communication skills, including the ability to explain technical solutions in clear, concise terms to non-technical stakeholders\nEligibility requirements:\n2.7+ GPA on a 4.0 scale or equivalent\nActively enrolled in an accredited undergraduate, master’s, or PhD on a full-time basis at a four-year college or university at the time of the internship\nAvailable for a full-time internship for 12 week\nWhat happens once you apply?\nClick Here to find all you need to know about what our typical hiring process looks like.\nEricsson uses a merit-based hiring approach that values people with different experiences, perspectives and skillsets.
