In this role, you will be part of a diverse and highly skilled team working on one of the leading telecom networks worldwide. You will collaborate with IP and telecom experts to design, build, secure, and improve a high-end network environment in close partnership with our customer.\nYou will work in a state-of-the-art, multi-vendor technology landscape where security, reliability, and continuous improvement are key:\nSecurity technologies: firewalling, DNS, load balancing, IPSec VPNs and IDPS\nNetwork vendors: Cisco and Juniper\nFirewalls: Check Point, Juniper, Cisco, Fortinet and F5\nLoad balancing: F5\nDNS and IPAM: Infoblox\nWhat you will do:\nReview high-level and low-level network designs and provide practical, value-adding feedback.\nBuild and improve secure IP network solutions based on approved designs.\nPrepare, test, and validate changes in the Test Centre before implementation in the live network.\nDeploy network security changes and solutions through a strict change management process.\nAnalyse current manual processes and help automate them using tools such as Ansible.\nWork closely with colleagues, vendors, and customer stakeholders to keep the network secure, stable, and future-ready.\nThe skills you bring:\nCCNA certification, along with additional certifications such as NSE4, CCSE/CCSA, and BIG-IP.\nKnowledge of network configuration management tools.\nProven experience in network security engineering.\nExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.\nAround 5-10 years of experience as an IP Network Engineer.\nService-oriented mindset.\nProficiency in Dutch is a significant asset, and business fluency in English is essential.\nNice to have:\nExperience working with Ansible and Python.\nExperience setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines.\nExperience with Infrastructure as Code.\nWhat we offer?\nThe opportunity to work in an international organisation where technology and customer interaction come together.\nIndustry-related training and room to keep developing your technical skills.\nFlexible working hours and a professional, collaborative working environment.\nA competitive compensation package, including an annual bonus.\nInternational career opportunities within a global ICT company.\nWhy join Ericsson?
