Find out more about the Early Career program here.\nYour journey within the Early Career Program will start as a Strategic Product Manager\nAbout the team\nJoin Ericsson's Strategic Product Management team focusing on Architecture, Automation and Operations, within Product Line RAN Software. Our team consists of around 10 people, primarily based in Stockholm, working on how AI, automation, and next-generation RAN technologies will shape the future of mobile networks.\nThis Strategic Product Manager role offers two possible focus areas, depending on your background and the needs of the business:\nAutonomous Networks: shaping product strategy for AI-enabled network operations, automation, and autonomous network capabilities.\nCloud RAN Infrastructure: shaping product strategy for the cloud-native infrastructure, RAN compute, and technologies underpinning next-generation RAN.\nIn either area, you will contribute to portfolio strategy, influence product direction, and identify business opportunities. Drawing on hands-on product or solution experience, you will help shape Ericsson’s offering, portfolio positioning, and product direction to create customer and business value.\nYour work will reflect your assigned focus area. You will have the opportunity to:\nContribute to and drive strategic initiatives, translating technology developments, market trends, and customer needs into business opportunities for next-generation RAN.\nContribute to portfolio strategy and roadmaps by developing differentiated product offerings, clear value propositions, customer stories, and recommendations on product direction and investments.\nSupport strategic planning and execution through IPP and SPP processes, developing business cases, commercial recommendations, actionable plans, and following initiatives through implementation.\nIdentify growth opportunities through customer engagement, market intelligence, competitive analysis, technology insights, and translate findings into compelling customer stories.\nWork across Product Units, Engineering Units, Market Areas, customers, and industry partners to align product strategies with customer needs and business priorities.\nContribute to industry discussions, presentations, and relevant standardization forums, helping connect strategic priorities with customer and business outcomes. \nWhat you will bring\nShared experience and capabilities\n2-5 years of relevant experience in telecommunications, product development, data science, commercial strategy, or related technology fields.\nExperience understanding products or offerings and connecting customer needs, technology trends, and market insights to business value and commercial opportunities.\nHands-on experience with products, solutions, or their implementation.\nExperience working across teams and driving initiatives forward with different stakeholders.\nStrong analytical, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to adapt messages to different audiences.\nCuriosity, ownership, and confidence to challenge existing ways of working\nFocus 1 - Autonomous Networks\nHands-on experience in network operations, implementing automation solutions, or developing data-driven and AI-enabled solutions.\nUnderstanding of network operations from an operator or user perspective, with exposure to areas such as network assurance, orchestration, or automation.\nUnderstanding of how automation and AI can improve network performance and operational efficiency.\nFocus 2 - Cloud RAN Infrastructure\nHands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, compute platforms, or real-time applications.\nUnderstanding of cloud technologies and infrastructure, with exposure to platforms or technologies such as Intel, NVIDIA, Red Hat OpenShift, CNIS, or Kubernetes.\nUnderstanding of infrastructure performance and how cloud technologies support next-generation network solutions.\nYou are expected to bring relevant experience in one of these focus areas, not both.
