We are looking for a Trade Compliance Manager to help ensure our import and export operations meet U.S. and international regulatory requirements while supporting business growth, operational efficiency, and a strong culture of compliance.\nThis is an opportunity for an experienced trade compliance professional to play a key role in managing import and export compliance activities, advising stakeholders across the business, and strengthening processes that support a global supply chain.\nWhat you will do\nLead and support trade compliance activities across customs, export controls, sanctions, and international trade operations.\nProvide subject matter expertise and practical guidance on customs, import, export, sanctions, export controls, classification, country of origin, licensing, end-use, end-user, and other trade compliance requirements.\nAssess business scenarios, operational flows, product introductions, sourcing activities, technology transfers, supply chain transactions, and new business models from a trade compliance perspective.\nManage and maintain trade compliance classifications, including Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS), Export Control Classification Number (ECCN), country of origin, and related trade compliance attributes.\nSupport the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of risk-based transaction controls required by customs, export control, sanctions, and anti-money laundering regulations.\nPartner with suppliers, brokers, logistics providers, business units, sourcing organizations, product teams, legal functions, and other stakeholders to ensure compliant and efficient cross-border operations.\nMonitor import and export transactions, identify compliance risks, operational gaps, and regulatory issues, and drive corrective and preventive actions.\nConduct trade compliance reviews, audits, monitoring activities, and investigations to strengthen compliance controls and improve operational effectiveness.\nSupport broker and service provider governance, including performance reviews, entry validations, issue management, and compliance assessments.\nParticipate in new product introductions, business initiatives, system implementations, strategic projects, acquisitions, and operational changes requiring trade compliance assessment and support.\nAssist in the development and maintenance of trade compliance processes, instructions, governance frameworks, and operational procedures.\nSupport the implementation of automated and digitalized trade compliance controls and contribute to process optimization initiatives.\nDeliver training, workshops, awareness activities, and stakeholder engagement programs to promote compliant ways of working.\nSupport export authorization, permit, licensing, and regulatory requirements where applicable.\nPerform trade compliance assessments related to sanctions, restricted parties, government and defense customers, military end-use concerns, and other regulatory risk areas.\nSupport customs valuation, tariff classification, trade remedy analysis, rules of origin determinations, and free trade agreement qualification activities.\nMaintain required compliance documentation, records, certifications, audit evidence, and regulatory support material.\nDevelop compliance metrics, reports, dashboards, and management summaries to support risk oversight and operational decision-making.\nCollaborate with global, regional, and local trade compliance organizations to ensure consistent application of trade compliance requirements across the business.\nSupport strategic and operational initiatives that strengthen Ericsson's global trade compliance capabilities and continuous improvement agenda.\nThe skills you bring\nBachelor's degree in International Trade, Supply Chain, Business, Law, Engineering, Logistics, Finance, or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.\n5+ years of experience within trade compliance, customs, export controls, sanctions, or international trade operations.\nStrong knowledge of import/export regulations, customs procedures, export controls, sanctions regulations, and global trade compliance requirements.\nDemonstrated experience with HTS classification, customs valuation, and country-of-origin determinations.\nUnderstanding of ECCN classifications, export authorization requirements, and export control regulations.\nWorking knowledge of EAR, ITAR, OFAC sanctions, EU sanctions, and other relevant regulatory frameworks.\nExperience with sanctions screening, restricted party reviews, due diligence activities, and trade compliance risk assessments.\nKnowledge of free trade agreements, rules of origin, and preferential trade programs, including USMCA.\nExperience supporting cross-functional business operations involving sourcing, logistics, procurement, product management, engineering, supply chain, and sales organizations.\nAbility to interpret complex regulations and translate regulatory requirements into practical and business-oriented solutions.\nExperience conducting audits, compliance reviews, investigations, and corrective action activities.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills.\nExperience supporting process improvement, governance, compliance programs, and operational excellence initiatives.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage effectively at all organizational levels.\nAdvanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and data analysis capabilities.\nExperience with SAP, SAP GTS, ERP systems, trade compliance platforms, screening systems, or similar compliance technologies.\nExperience with automation, digitalization, Power BI, Power Automate, AI-supported compliance tools, or related technologies is considered an advantage.\nCustoms Broker License or equivalent customs certification is preferred.\nExperience from telecommunications, technology, software, electronics, defense, manufacturing, or other highly regulated industries is
