Join our Team About the opportunity: We are seeking an experienced and proactive Transmission Engineer to join our team. This role requires a strong background in Transmission Assurance, hands-on troubleshooting, and support of telecommunications networks. You will be responsible for managing and ensuring the optimal performance of both SDH and DWDM networks, applying expertise in the field, and delivering exceptional customer service. What You Will Do: Transmission Assurance: Provide operational support and assurance for Transmission networks, including SDH (Level 1, 2, or 3) and DWDM networks. SDH Network Support: Operate and support SDH networks, preferably those manufactured by Marconi, Ericsson, or GPT. DWDM Network Support: Operate and support DWDM networks, preferably from Ciena, Marconi, or Ericsson. Incident Management & Troubleshooting: Apply triage and troubleshoot telecommunications network incidents related to transmission infrastructure, ensuring swift resolution of issues.
