This is a project-term, field-based position with 100% travel. Archaeological Field Techs will assist with or conduct archaeological field surveys.\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nDigging shovel tests and screening soil.\n\nVisually inspecting the land surface for presence of artifacts.\n\nBagging recovered artifacts and recording the provenience of the finds.\n\nMaintaining field notes.\n\nCompliance with corporate HSE.\n\nPerforming other duties as assigned or required.\n\nREQUIRED:\nArchaeological field school or prior archaeological field survey experience.\n\nAbility to work outdoors in variable weather conditions and on varied terrain.\n\nAbility to work weekends and over 40 hours per week when needed.\n\nWorking knowledge of archaeological survey protocols.\n\nAbility to work in the field for extended periods of time.\n\nMust meet criteria identified in Job Demands & Conditions Analysis for Office and Field Positions.\n\nB.A. in Anthropology or related field will be advantageous.\n\nFor the Archaeological Field Technicians position, the anticipated annual base pay is $23-$26 (USD). Actual pay will depend on factors such as education, experience, skills, location, performance, and business needs. In some cases, pay may fall outside this range.
