As part of ERM’s growing Air Quality team-one of the largest in the industry-you will help clients address regulatory challenges, implement sustainable solutions, and develop compliance strategies that directly impact the future of energy and industrial operations.\nWhat Your Impact Is\nDeliver expert guidance on air quality permitting and compliance for major capital projects\nInfluence environmental strategies for global clients across diverse sectors\nContribute to innovative climate initiatives, including greenhouse gas reduction and energy efficiency programs\nBuild trusted relationships with regulators and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes\nWhat You'll Bring\nRequired:\nBS in Chemical or Environmental Engineering, or Environmental Sciences (MS preferred) or equivalent experience\n2+ years of experience in environmental permitting and compliance\nHands-on experience with air quality construction permits, Title V, PSD, NSR, BACT, and/or MACT\nStrong analytical skills with proficiency in spreadsheets and databases\nExcellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment\nWillingness to travel to client sites as needed\nThis position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship\nPreferred:\nAdvanced degree in a related field\nExperience with climate change projects such as GHG inventories and emission reduction strategies\nFamiliarity with emerging Low Carbon Fuel Standards and complex permitting programs\nKey Responsibilities\nSupport digital implementations\nConduct air quality analyses and regulatory applicability evaluations\nPrepare and manage air quality permits (Title V, PSD, NSR)\nDevelop emission inventories and assess pollution control technologies\nSupport MACT compliance programs and deliver actionable recommendations\nEnsure quality standards across multiple projects within scope, budget, and schedule\nFoster strong client relationships and collaborate with ERM’s national network of experts\nWho We Are: \nAs the largest global pure play sustainability consultancy, we partner with the world’s leading organizations, creating innovative solutions to sustainability challenges and unlocking commercial opportunities that meet the needs of today while preserving opportunity for future generations.\nAt ERM we know that creating a diverse, equitable and inclusive work environment is an essential part of making our company a great place to build a career.
