CDH teams work in close partnership with regional consultants to support global client projects, providing specialist expertise, driving consistency, and enhancing delivery efficiency across our most important programmes.\nAs part of the Consulting Delivery Hub, you will collaborate with colleagues worldwide, contribute to complex sustainability projects, and play a key role in shaping the future of global consulting delivery.\nWhy this role matters?\nAs an ESMS Specialist, you will support ERM’s global consulting delivery by developing and implementing Environmental and Social Management Systems (ESMS) that are aligned with international standards such as but not limited to IFC PS, WB ESS (knowledge of European, African and Asian IFI’s standard are a plus). You will work within the Impact Assessment capability of the CPD service line, partnering with regional consultants and global client teams to deliver robust, standards-compliant management systems. This role is critical to the quality, consistency, and international compliance of ERM’s environmental and social advisory delivery.\n What your impact is?\nEnvironmental and Social Management Systems (ESMS) are developed and implemented in line with IFC Performance Standard 1 (PS1) and other relevant international standards.\n\nEnvironmental and Social Management Plans (ESMPs), manuals, action plans, and policies are delivered to a high, audit-ready standard.\n\nRegional consulting teams and clients receive timely, specialist ESMS support that strengthens delivery quality and efficiency.\n\nManagement systems remain current and are continuously improved to reflect evolving international requirements and lender expectations.\n\nClient projects consistently meet regulatory, lender, and international governance requirements for environmental and social management.\n\nWhat will you bring?\nStrong working knowledge of relevant international standards and associated lender frameworks.\n\nExperience developing and implementing Environmental and Social Management Systems (ESMS) within a consulting, sustainability, or industry environment.\n\nProven ability to produce ESMPs, management manuals, action plans, and policies to a high standard.\n\nProficiency in English (essential) together with French, Italian, or Spanish -
