Working closely with Project Managers and senior consultants, you will help ensure projects meet regulatory requirements, advance environmental stewardship, and are delivered safely, efficiently, and with the highest quality standards.\nWhat You’ll Bring\nRequired\nBachelor’s degree in biology, environmental studies, or a related science discipline, or equivalent experience (8+ years). \n2-3 years (5 years preferred) of relevant environmental consulting experience and/or professional internships. \nStrong commitment to health and safety in both field and office environments. \nEffective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document and interpret technical data. \nProficiency with spreadsheets, databases, and data analysis tools. \nDetail-oriented mindset with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. \nAbility to manage multiple priorities, work independently with minimal supervision, and adapt to changing project needs. \nWillingness and ability to travel as project demands require. \nDriver's License Required: This position requires a valid driver's license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle due to the nature of job duties, which include frequent travel to various client locations across a large geographical area. \nThis position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship. \nPreferred\nExperience supporting environmental impact assessments and compliance programs in the energy sector. \nFamiliarity with wetlands, stormwater, NPDES, and wastewater permitting and reporting. \nLocal or regional knowledge of Minnesota and surrounding regulatory environments. \nKey Responsibilities\nProvide technical support on environmental impact assessments and sustainability-related projects. \nPrepare plans, permits, and reports related to wetlands, stormwater, NPDES, and wastewater programs. \nConduct environmental compliance assessments and support implementation of corrective actions to meet federal, state, and local regulations. \nPerform fieldwork, including ecological field studies and site assessments. \nDeliver general environmental compliance support, including on-site client assistance as needed. \nCompile, evaluate, and interpret environmental data; contribute to high-quality technical report preparation. \nExecute project tasks within scope, budget, and schedule expectations while meeting ERM’s quality standards. \nCollaborate with Partners-in-Charge and Project Managers to deliver exceptional client value and project outcomes. \nFor the Consultant, Scientist position, the anticipated annual base pay is $72,600-$97,500 (USD). Actual pay will depend on factors such as education, experience, skills, location, performance, and business needs. In some cases, pay may fall outside this range.
