This role offers the opportunity to apply innovative engineering solutions, gain valuable field experience, and support projects that help clients address complex environmental challenges.\nWhat Your Impact Is\nAs a Consulting Associate, Environmental Engineer, you will play an important role in supporting environmental investigation, remediation, and compliance projects that help clients manage environmental risks and achieve regulatory obligations. You will work alongside industry-leading experts, gain hands-on technical experience, and build a strong foundation for professional growth and engineering licensure.\nWhat You'll Bring\nRequired\nBS in chemical, civil, environmental, or mechanical engineering or related degree, or equivalent experience.\nRecent graduate or less than 1 year of experience, including willingness and interest in field assignments.\nStrong commitment to safety, including following established Health and Safety protocols.\nDriver's License Required: This position requires a valid driver's license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle due to the nature of job duties, which include frequent travel to various client locations across a large geographical area.\nEffective written and verbal communication skills, with strong organizational and analytical abilities.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nDetail-oriented with mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to multi-task, maintain flexibility, travel, and work independently with minimal supervision.\nLocal candidates preferred.\nThis position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.\nPreferred\nEnvironmental field work experience.\n40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification.\nEngineer-in-Training (E.I.T.) certification.\nExperience recording and preparing detailed technical data and reports.\nKey Responsibilities\nConduct field work, including sampling, drilling, well installation, remedial pilot tests, construction oversight, and remedial system operation and maintenance.\nAssist in groundwater and system performance monitoring.\nCompile and evaluate data and assist in report preparation.\nPerform calculations to assist in cost estimating, remedial designs, and work plans.\nPrepare environmental compliance plans, permits, and reports for air quality, hazardous waste, spill prevention, storm water, and wastewater.\nPerform Phase I and II environmental site assessments to support property transfer transactions.\nAssist in ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.\nWork within quality, budget, schedule, and scope expectations.\nCommunicate with subcontractors, regulatory agencies, tenants, and clients during field activities.\nPerform work safely by adhering to a behavior-based health and safety program and all client requirements.\nFor the Consulting Associate, Environmental Engineer position, the anticipated annual base pay is $68,000-$88,800 (USD). Actual pay will depend on factors such as education, experience, skills, location, performance, and business needs. In some cases, pay may fall outside this range.
