Your field and technical contributions will directly support project success while providing invaluable real-world consulting experience across a diverse portfolio of projects.\nWhat Your Impact Is\nAs a Consulting Associate, you will play a key role in collecting environmental data, supporting investigations, evaluating site conditions, and assisting with compliance and remediation efforts. Working closely with project managers and technical specialists, you'll help deliver high-quality environmental solutions while developing skills across multiple environmental disciplines. This position also offers opportunities for travel throughout the United States and, on occasion, globally.\nWhat You’ll Bring\nRequired\nBachelor’s degree in geology, hydrogeology, engineering, environmental science, or related environmental discipline. Minimum 3.0 GPA, or equivalent experience.\nRecent graduate to 1+ years of experience.\nWillingness and interest in field assignments; ability to perform field work standing or walking for full field days.\nStrong commitment to safety, including following established Health and Safety protocols.\nEffective written and verbal communication skills along with strong organizational and analytical abilities.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nDetail-oriented with a solutions-focused, results-oriented approach and strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to multi-task, maintain flexibility, travel, and work independently with minimal supervision.\nAbility to lift at least 40 pounds.\nDriver’s License Required: This position requires a valid driver’s license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle due to the nature of job duties, which include frequent travel to various client locations across a large geographical area.\nThis position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.\nPreferred\nMaster's degree in geology, hydrogeology, engineering, environmental science, or related environmental discipline.\nExperience recording and writing detailed technical data and reports.\n40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification.\nGIT or EIT certification.\nLocal candidates preferred.\nKey Responsibilities\nConduct field work, including data collection; soil, sediment, groundwater, surface water, soil vapor, and indoor air sampling; aquifer testing; drilling oversight and soil logging; soil boring and monitoring well installation; well development, purging and sampling; remedial and wastewater treatment pilot tests; remedial system operation and maintenance; and in-plant support.\nAssist in groundwater and wastewater system performance monitoring.\nPerform Phase I and II environmental assessments to support property transfer transactions.\nCompile and evaluate data and assist in report preparation.\nPrepare environmental compliance work plans, permits, and reports for air quality, hazardous waste, spill prevention, storm water, and wastewater.\nAssist in ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.\nWork within quality, budget, schedule expectations, and scope-specific assignments.\nCommunicate with subcontractors, regulatory agents, tenants, and clients during field activities.\nFor the Consulting Associate, Environmental Engineer, Geologist, or Scientist position, the anticipated annual base pay is $65,000-$81,400 (USD). Actual pay will depend on factors such as education, experience, skills, location, performance, and business needs. In some cases, pay may fall outside this range.
