Through collaboration and continuous learning, you will strengthen our culture and create opportunities that support long-term success for both clients and the firm.\nRoles & Responsibilities\nPerform ESG and EHS due diligence for acquisitions, mergers, divestitures, joint ventures, capital raising, and project finance, including Equator Principles reviews and property transactions.\nConduct Environmental & Social (E&S) due diligence for project finance.\nExecute Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ASTM 1527) and EHS Due Diligence.\nCarry out desktop and field assessments of environmental and reputational risks, including:\nOn-site inspections and observations\nStakeholder interviews\nDocument reviews and discussions\nReport preparation\nPerform EHS compliance audits, management system assessments, and regulatory reviews.\nProvide technical and advisory support for EHS permitting.\nAssess soil and groundwater risks and liabilities.\nPrepare proposals and estimate budgets.\nManage projects, ensure health and safety leadership, and maintain quality standards.\nCommunicate effectively in English and be open to extended travel.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s/Master’s degree in Environmental Sciences, Environmental Engineering, or related fields.\n2-4 years of experience in environmental consulting, preferably in due diligence, liability assessment, regulatory reviews, and compliance.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision and maintain flexibility in work hours.\nStrong English communication skills (written and spoken).\nExcellent presentation skills and understanding of deal dynamics.\nKnowledge or interest in corporate sustainability, sustainable finance, and ESG data analytics.\nWillingness to travel across India and abroad on tight timelines.\nDemonstrated initiative, adaptability, and eagerness to learn.\nAPAC Ready to Lead Way\nAt ERM, your work creates impact that matters, helping global organizations tackle the most pressing sustainability challenges while shaping a better future for communities and the environment.
