Working closely with ERM's multidisciplinary teams, you will gain valuable field and office experience across a wide range of environmental consulting services.\nWhat You'll Bring:\nRequired\nBachelor in environmental science, engineering (civil, environmental, mechanical), or related discipline.\n0+ years of relevant experience; internships and academic research will be considered.\nCapable of thriving in a consulting environment that requires the ability to simultaneously handle multiple project assignments and meet strict deadlines.\nProficient at multi-tasking, maintaining flexibility, and developing the ability to work independently.\nAbility to travel locally across Southern California (Orange County, Los Angeles County, Ventura County, Riverside, etc.), and occasional overnight traveling based on business needs.\nAbility to perform outdoor field work in various weather conditions, and lift up to 50 lbs.\nEnthusiastic and driven with the ability to be agile and innovative.\nAppetite for learning new digital tools and applications.\nExcellent written and verbal communication, organizational, and analytical skills, with experience recording technical data and preparing reports.\nDependable, with integrity, respect, a positive outlook, and a strong client focus.\nDriver's License Required: This position requires a valid driver's license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle due to the nature of job duties, which include frequent travel to various client locations across a large geographical area.\nThis position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.\nPreferred\n40-hour HAZWOPER training (or willingness to obtain it).\nFamiliarity with California regulatory agencies including DTSC, Regional Water Quality Control Boards, and SCAQMD.\nWorking knowledge of CEQA requirements.\nGIS experience.\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDrafting Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) reports, including site reconnaissance, historical records review, and regulatory database research in accordance with ASTM E1527-21.\nProviding technical assistance on environmental compliance, management systems, and due diligence transaction projects.\nSupporting environmental due diligence and site investigations, including field work such as site inspections and soil, groundwater, and soil vapor sampling.\nAssisting clients with environmental compliance and permitting across air, water, waste, and hazardous materials regulatory programs.\nCompiling, managing, and analyzing environmental data, and preparing tables, figures, and technical reports.\nSupporting environmental, health, and safety (EHS) audits and sustainability initiatives, including emissions inventories and regulatory reporting.\nFor the Consulting Associate, Scientist or Engineer position, the anticipated annual base pay is $70,304 -$81,400 (USD). Actual pay will depend on factors such as education, experience, skills, location, performance, and business needs. In some cases, pay may fall outside this range.
