Your work will contribute to projects that support responsible business practices while helping clients meet federal, state, and local environmental requirements.\nWhat Your Impact Is\nAs a Consulting Associate, Sustainable Operations, you will:\nSupport environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives for industrial, commercial, and global clients.\n\nHelp clients navigate complex environmental regulations and permitting requirements.\n\nContribute to air quality, site investigation, remediation, and due diligence projects that drive informed business decisions.\n\nCollect, analyze, and interpret environmental data to support technical evaluations and recommendations.\n\nDevelop practical solutions that help organizations achieve compliance and operate more sustainably.\n\nGrow your project management skills while delivering high-quality work on schedule and within budget.\n\nWhat You'll Bring\nRequired\nBachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field. Or equivalent experience.\n\nRecent graduate to 1 year of relevant environmental consulting, industry experience, or professional internship experience.\n\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.\n\nExperience working with spreadsheets, databases, and technical data.\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\n\nAbility to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.\n\nCuriosity, initiative, and a desire to learn in a collaborative consulting environment.\n\nWillingness to perform fieldwork and travel to client sites as needed.\n\nThis position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.\n\nPreferred\nMaster's degree in a related discipline.\n\nProfessional Engineer (PE) license or interest in pursuing professional certification.\n\nExperience preparing technical reports, regulatory submissions, or environmental compliance documentation.\n\nFamiliarity with environmental regulations and programs related to air quality, hazardous waste, stormwater, wastewater, spill prevention, or EPCRA reporting.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nProvide technical support on environmental, health, and safety (EHS) compliance projects, air quality management initiatives, site investigations, remediation projects, and environmental due diligence assessments.\n\nPrepare permits, plans, and regulatory reports related to hazardous waste, air quality, stormwater, wastewater, NPDES, spill prevention, EPCRA Tier II, and TRI programs.\n\nConduct environmental compliance assessments and support corrective action implementation to maintain regulatory compliance.\n\nPerform air quality analyses, emission inventories, emissions calculations, and evaluations of air pollution control technologies.\n\nSupport Phase I Environmental Site Assessments and other due diligence activities associated with property transactions.\n\nParticipate in field activities, including environmental sampling, ecological studies, drilling oversight, monitoring well installation, remedial testing, construction oversight, and operation and maintenance of remediation systems.\n\nProvide on-site environmental compliance support and technical assistance to clients.\n\nCompile, analyze, and interpret environmental data and contribute to technical report preparation.\n\nManage multiple project tasks simultaneously while meeting quality, schedule, and budget expectations.\n\nCollaborate closely with Project Managers and senior consultants to successfully deliver client projects and develop your consulting expertise.\n\nFor the Consulting Associate, Sustainable Operations position, the anticipated annual base pay is $64,584-$79,751 (CAD/USD). Actual pay will depend on factors such as education, experience, skills, location, performance, and business needs. In some cases, pay may fall outside this range.
