Your work will directly contribute to project success while providing valuable opportunities to develop technical expertise across ERM's broad service offerings.\nYou'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of engineers, geologists, scientists, and environmental professionals to deliver high-quality solutions that create positive outcomes for clients and communities.\nWhat Your Impact Is:\nSupport site investigation and remediation projects from planning through field execution and reporting.\nHelp collect, analyze, and interpret environmental data that informs key project decisions.\nApply the latest site investigation and remediation technologies alongside experienced technical professionals.\nContribute to safe, compliant, and efficient project delivery across diverse industrial and environmental settings.\nBuild strong technical and project management skills while working on projects locally and across the United States.\nCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop practical environmental solutions for complex challenges.\nWhat You'll Bring\nRequired\nBS in geology, hydrogeology, geological engineering, civil engineering, or related degree, or equivalent experience.\n 1+ years of professional work experience or related internship experience.\nStrong commitment to safety, including following established Health and Safety protocols.\nEffective written and verbal communication skills.\nStrong organizational and analytical skills.\nAbility to multi-task, maintain flexibility, travel, and work independently with minimal supervision.\nDriver's License Required: This position requires a valid driver's license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle due to the nature of job duties, which include frequent travel to various client locations across a large geographical area.\nThis position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship. \nPreferred\nExperience with AutoCAD and/or GIS.\nField work experience.\n40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification.\nExperience recording and writing detailed technical data and reports.\nLocal candidates preferred.\nKey Responsibilities:\nCoordinate field activities including soil, sediment, groundwater, and surface water sampling.\nSupport aquifer testing, drilling oversight, soil logging, soil boring and monitoring well installation, well development, purging, sampling, and subcontractor oversight.\nCoordinate direct drilling, surveying, and laboratory services.\nAssist with data interpretation and preparation of site work plans, spreadsheets, figures, and technical reports.\nFocus on project delivery while working under the direction of Project Managers.\nAssist in ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.\nCollaborate with scientists across site investigation, risk management, and planning disciplines as part of integrated project teams.\nWork closely with engineers involved in design and construction projects.\nDeliver work within established quality, budget, schedule, and scope expectations.\nCommunicate and interact effectively with subcontractors, regulatory agencies, and project team members.\nSupport a variety of site investigation and remediation projects at industrial facilities and related sites throughout the Atlantic Central Business Unit and other U.S. locations.\nParticipate in additional projects that may span the full spectrum of ERM's global service offerings.\nWho We Are: \nAs the largest global pure play sustainability consultancy, we partner with the world’s leading organizations, creating innovative solutions to sustainability challenges and unlocking commercial opportunities that meet the needs of today while preserving opportunity for future generations.\nAt ERM we know that creating a diverse, equitable and inclusive work environment is an essential part of making our company a great place to build a career.
