The EHS Specialist provides essential documentation and organizational support to the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) team, ensuring consistent alignment with regulatory requirements and internal standards. This role plays a critical part in maintaining compliance, supporting incident investigations, and facilitating communication between project teams and the EHS Owner Advisory team. The EHS Specialist is responsible for managing EHS software platforms, stewarding document control, and tracking key performance metrics to drive accountability and continuous improvement across the project lifecycle. This is a full-time (40 hours per week) limited-term role with a duration of 1 year, extendable.\nKey Responsibilities\nTrack and document key EHS metrics, including leading and lagging indicators, audit findings, and closure of action items and Statements of Requirements (SORs).\nSupport the preparation and organization of EHS reports, forms, and compliance documentation.\nServe as the document control steward for the EHS Owner Advisory team, ensuring accuracy and accessibility of records.\nManage EHS software platforms (e.g., Gensuite or other similar platforms), including data entry, reporting, and system maintenance.\nAssist with incident investigation documentation and follow-up actions.\nFacilitate communication between project teams and the EHS Owner Advisory team to ensure alignment and timely information flow.\nSupport compliance with company and regulatory EHS requirements through timely and accurate documentation practices.\nAssist in EHS inspections and audits, including preparation, coordination, and documentation.\nPrepare and distribute site-wide EHS communications as requested by leadership.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety Engineering, or equivalent experience.\nA minimum of 1-5 years of experience in an EHS role, preferably within industrial or capital project environments.\nDemonstrated proficiency in documentation and data management.\nExperience with EHS software platforms and basic data analytics.\nStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams.\nTechnical writing skills preferred.\nDetail-oriented with strong organizational and communication abilities.\nWho We Are:\nAs the largest global pure play sustainability consultancy, we partner with the world’s leading organizations, creating innovative solutions to sustainability challenges and unlocking commercial opportunities that meet the needs of today while preserving opportunity for future generations.\nAt ERM we know that creating a diverse, equitable and inclusive work environment is an essential part of making our company a great place to build a career.
