The successful candidate will work with our team to complete archaeological field surveys. This is a full-time, limited-term role for a duration of 9 months, renewable.\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nParticipate in field studies including,field reconnaissance, field surveys, and excavation for archaeological studies.\n\nVisually inspecting the land surface for presence of archaeological and historic built resources.\nCompliance with corporate Health and Safety requirements.\nPerforming other duties as assigned or required.\n\nREQUIREMENTS:\nA Degree in Anthropology (with a focus in archaeology) or in Archaeology preferred.\n\n0-3 years of archaeological survey and impact assessment experience.\n Applicants enrolled in a degree granting university who have completed a field school in archaeology are encouraged to apply.\nPrior archaeological field school experience a plus.\nAbility to work outdoors in variable weather conditions and on varied terrain.\nWorking knowledge of archaeological survey and impact assessment protocols.\nAbility to work 2 weeks on, 1 week off rotation.\n\nAbility to work in the field for extended periods of time.\nFor the Field Archaeologist position, we anticipate the annual base pay of $52,000- $63,207, $25.00/hr - $30.39/hr limited-term, non-exempt. An employee’s pay position within this range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs. We also may have instances where employee’s fall outside of the range based on the factors noted above.
