Make it yours.\nRole Overview\nWe are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to provide trusted HR support across Spain and Portugal. Acting as a key partner to managers and employees, you will provide expert guidance on employee relations, employment law, people policies, and HR best practice, helping to ensure a positive employee experience while managing business and legal risk.\nThis role requires strong knowledge of Spanish and Portuguese employment legislation, the ability to manage a broad range of employee relations matters, and a collaborative approach to supporting business leaders in a dynamic, international environment.\nThe role will be based in either our Madrid or Barcelona office where we have a flexible hybrid working model.\nKey Responsibilities\nProvide proactive HR advice and guidance to managers and employees across Spain and Portugal.\nManage employee relations matters including performance, conduct, grievances, absence management, flexible working requests, and workplace investigations.\nEnsure compliance with local employment legislation and company policies.\nSupport organisational change initiatives, restructures, consultations, and other workforce projects.\nPartner with managers to address people-related challenges and build leadership capability.\nAdvise on HR policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure consistent and fair decision-making.\nWork closely with regional HR, Legal, and business stakeholders on complex employee matters.\nSupport annual HR processes including performance reviews, compensation cycles, talent planning, and employee engagement initiatives.\nMonitor legislative developments and provide guidance on their impact to the business.\n\nSkills & Experience\nProven experience in an HR Advisor, HR Generalist, or Employee Relations role.\nStrong working knowledge of Spanish employment law; knowledge of Portuguese employment law is highly desirable.\nExperience managing complex employee relations cases and advising managers.\nStrong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively within a regional HR team.\nFluent Spanish and English required; Portuguese would be an advantage.\n⠀\nERM is committed to creating an inclusive workplace where everyone feels valued, respected, and empowered to thrive, it’s an essential part of what makes ERM a great place to build a career and helps us create better solutions for our clients.\nWe welcome talent from all backgrounds and provide equal opportunities for every candidate.
