Working on projects from Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects to local scale, offers the opportunity to work in multi-disciplinary teams, influencing design from an early stage to create a landscape legacy, while supporting progress towards net zero and delivering wider environmental and social benefits.\nWe are interested in applicants who have experience in landscape planning and assessment, particularly energy transition (wind, solar, hydrogen, nuclear, storage, and grid connections). This is an opportunity to join a recognised team of experts in landscape planning, which is growing.\nJob Responsibilities:\nYou should be able to demonstrate an appropriate level of technical expertise to be able to carry out the following job/project tasks:\nProduce and/or oversee the production of reports, drawings, and other technical documentation, with the necessary level of detail for various stages of development, assessment, and design.\n\nDevelop wireframe models and 3D infoworks of sites\n\nClear communication, including the ability to lead on conference calls, meetings, and workshops.\n\nTechnical ability, knowledge, competence, and leadership to provide guidance and inspiration to develop the team. Support a culture of continuous growth, innovation, and technical excellence.\n\nUnderstanding to work collaboratively and iteratively with other technical disciplines within multi-disciplinary teams to enhance project delivery.\n\nMinimum Requirements\nTechnically competent in preparing LVIAs and and evidence-base documents in accordance with best practice.\n\nThorough knowledge and understanding of the UK planning system with respect to landscape architecture.\n\nExperience of project management, including financial control and reporting and programme management and ability to manage own budgets.\n\nProficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications.\n\nCompetent in the use of AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Cloud software (preferred).\n\nExperience of some or all of the following would also be very useful: ArcGIS, AutoCAD Civils 3D, Revit, Windsoft and Infoworks.\n\nQualifications\nLandscape Institute accredited Bachelor’s degree, Diploma and/or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture.\n\nChartered Member of the Landscape Institute (CMLI).\n\n⠀\nERM is committed to creating an inclusive workplace where everyone feels valued, respected, and empowered to thrive, it’s an essential part of what makes ERM a great place to build a career and helps us create better solutions for our clients.\nWe welcome talent from all backgrounds and provide equal opportunities for every candidate.
