In this role, you will manage projects and contribute technically to challenging EHS compliance, management systems, auditing, and compliance assurance projects and programs for clients locally, nationally, and internationally.\nWhat Your Impact Is\nServe as project manager and deliver EHS compliance and management system projects that reduce risk and strengthen regulatory performance.\nServe as a trusted advisor to clients, shaping EHS strategy and driving long-term program success.\nElevate EHS programs from compliance-driven to performance-oriented and sustainability-aligned.\nBuild and expand client relationships, generating repeat business and contributing to regional growth.\nMentor and develop talent, fostering a high-performing and collaborative team environment.\nWhat You'll Bring\nRequired\nBS in engineering (chemical, mechanical, environmental), environmental science, or related degree, or equivalent experience.\n4-6 years (7+ years preferred) of relevant multimedia EHS compliance and management systems, including consulting experience.\nStrong technical knowledge in EHS compliance areas (e.g., e-waste, hazardous waste, stormwater, wastewater, and/or EPCRA).\nExperience with assessing regulatory applicability of regulations; compliance reporting; and communicating with and working with regulatory agencies.\nExperience writing proposals and managing projects, budgets, and timelines with accountability for quality outcomes.\nDemonstrated ability to lead initiatives, delegate effectively, and mentor team members.\nExcellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.\nPositive outlook and collaborative approach.\nAbility to travel up to 25%.\n This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship. \nPreferred\nMS in engineering (chemical, mechanical, environmental), environmental science, or related degree.\nProfessional certifications (e.g., PE, CSP, CHMM).\nExperience working with auditing compliance programs, including e-waste, waste, stormwater, wastewater, and/or EPCRA.\nExperience with developing, maintaining and/or auditing EHS management systems (ISO 14001 / ISO 45001, R2, RIOS, ISO 9001).\nKey Responsibilities\nLead EHS compliance audits, assessments, and corrective action implementation across client operations.\nDevelop and implement EHS management systems and regulatory programs (water, waste, spill prevention).\nProvide support for permit application development and regulatory agency communication.\nProvide on-site compliance support and technical expertise at client facilities.\nManage multiple projects end-to-end, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.\nIdentify and develop new opportunities, prepare effective technical proposals, and take an active leadership role in developing new business with new and existing clients.\nAs a project manager, work closely with clients and ERM teams to achieve client expectations for scope, budget, schedule, and quality.\nBuild and maintain strong client relationships to drive repeat business and new opportunities.\nPrepare proposals, identify growth opportunities, and contribute to expanding ERM's EHS services.\nMentor junior staff, delegate work effectively, and support team development and performance.\nCollaborate with ERM's global network to share best practices and deliver innovative solutions.\nWho We Are: \nAs the largest global pure play sustainability consultancy, we partner with the world’s leading organizations, creating innovative solutions to sustainability challenges and unlocking commercial opportunities that meet the needs of today while preserving opportunity for future generations.\nAt ERM we know that creating a diverse, equitable and inclusive work environment is an essential part of making our company a great place to build a career.
