With a strong foundation in cutting-edge AI, machine learning, and advanced engineering, the company is delivering innovative technological solutions at scale.\nKnown for its commitment to innovation, safety, and sustainability, it offers a collaborative environment where talented individuals can make a tangible impact in a fast-evolving technology sector.\nWorking as an embedded member of the client EMEA EHS team, you will exercise independent professional judgement, advise operational leaders and drive practical improvements in EHS performance across the rapidly growing UK operations.\nWhat you’ll be doing\nIn this role you will:\nLead the delivery of EHS priorities, planning and undertaking site inspections, walkarounds, and assurance activities across client operations.\nEvaluate hazards and risks, define proportionate controls and drive corrective actions through to closure.\nLead EHS audits and risk assessments, providing robust technical advice across site activities.\nProvide technical advice oversight and advice on construction safety, workplace safety, and occupational hygiene risks, drawing on expertise where required.\nInterpret site findings and EHS performance data to identify trends, emerging risks and priorities for intervention.\nDeliver clear, decision-focused reporting to client leadership, translating technical findings into practical recommendations and action plans.\nPartner with EHS leadership, operational leaders and site teams to implement sustainable EHS programs and address compliance gaps.\nAdvise on applicable UK health, safety and environment requirements and internal standards.\nWho we are looking for\nYou will thrive in this role with:\nSubstantial (10 years plus) relevant EHS experience in industry or consultancy, with a proven track record of leading delivery in operational environments. Experience in the technology sector would preferred.\nStrong working knowledge of UK health and safety legislation, with the ability to interpret requirements and translate them into practical operational controls.\nAbility to prioritise competing demands, manage an agreed EHS work programme and take ownership of delivery with minimal supervision.\nStrong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the confidence to advise senior EHS and business leaders, challenge constructively and build credibility with operational teams.\nNEBOSH Certificate (required) or Diploma (preferred), or equivalent qualification in Safety, Occupational Health or a related discipline.\nPrevious experience working with EHS software solutions such as Enablon is preferred but not required.\nA full UK driving licence (or ability to travel independently to site locations).\n⠀\nERM is committed to creating an inclusive workplace where everyone feels valued, respected, and empowered to thrive, it’s an essential part of what makes ERM a great place to build a career and helps us create better solutions for our clients.\nWe welcome talent from all backgrounds and provide equal opportunities for every candidate.
