In order to prepare the necessary communication and decision making processes, companies organize themselves in REACH consortia.\nCurrently ReachCentrum is managing about 100 consortia, which require tailored advice on regulatory compliance at all stages of the REACH Regulation. To strengthen its expertise in the chemicals regulatory field and enhance the support provided to clients, ReachCentrum is seeking\na Project Manager to be part of its dynamic team.\nAs a Project Manager, you support consortium members by managing the entire administration and activities of the consortium. The aim of your role is to lead the project management of new and existing consortia, support projects and consultancy. Depending on the stage, this requires solid skills with respect to:\nproject management\nexecuting administrative responsibilities and financial management\nability to work on different projects in parallel\nability to prioritize tasks and adjust the action plan continuously\nReachCentrum has extended its product portfolio over the past several years and is developing new services in relation to global REACH-like regulations. You will contribute to the development of the services and the execution of the tasks. You will report to the ReachCentrum team lead and will be supported by ReachCentrum staff.\nAdditional requirements include:\nNegotiation skills\nExperience in collaborating and communicating with companies to advocate common-interests\nAdaptability to work on tight deadlines and handle multiple priorities\nREACH expertise and knowledge of EU policy on chemicals or a strong interest in this area and the willingness and ability to learn quickly\nUnderstanding of competition law\nUnderstanding of REACH related legal and contractual issues\nInterest in the project financial management and willingness to learn about complex cost sharing rules\nMain Tasks\nOrganize consortia activities\nMaintain, communicate and manage the consortia planning\nMaintain administration (including financial management) and organize communication with other stakeholders; facilitate consortia meetings both technical and executive ones\nLead discussions and build consensus\nCoordinate the ongoing technical work of the consortia\nPrepare drafts of the legal documents when required, and flag potential legal issues before they become critical\nCooperate with the finance team to maintain the consortia finances, by providing inputs on the consortia specific rules and ongoing work\nSupport clients in day-to-day REACH/biocides related business operations\nMaintain contacts with third parties and authorities (ECHA, European Commission etc.) on behalf of clients\nKnowledge of best practices and trends in regulatory management\nThought leadership: leading and acting on behalf of the client\nResolve challenges: solve clients’ concerns and create solutions for foreseeable issues\nInsight on latest industry trends to present opportunities and avoid pitfalls\nAdvisor to client(s) about potential impact of the regulations, demonstrating foresight and contributing to his/her success\nRecognize potential issues and propose viable solutions.
