This is a full-time (40 hours per week) limited-term role, Monday to Friday, day shift, with a duration of 12 months, extendable.\nThe ideal candidate will have experience developing and supporting the implementation of OSHA requirements, Standard Operating Procedures, Health and Safety Plans, Job Hazard Analysis, Risk Assessment processes, Behavioral Safety programs, and Contractor Safety Management. Candidates should also have familiarity with manufacturing safety requirements, waste management (hazardous, non-hazardous, universal, electronic), environmental reporting (HMBPs), and chemical safety requirements.\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nManage and update the Daily 6s Safety Audit Log - monitor, correct, and track issues until closed. Identify follow-up corrective actions to close audit findings.\nMaintain accurate records and analyze data in Excel, edit and present high-quality presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint; Utilize Outlook and Teams for communication, calendar management, and scheduling meetings.\nProvide weekly activity reports to EHS Managers and Senior Specialists.\nSupport and attend Safety Committee Meetings and Safety Walks monthly or as needed.\nSupport Emergency Action Plan and Drill as scheduled.\nPerform compliance and system audits to assess project compliance with applicable health and safety or environmental regulatory requirements, client standards, or management systems.\nUpon request by Client EHS personnel, assist with near-miss/incident investigation process.\nVerify that all Dragers and PPE are being correctly utilized, and shark cages are organized and secure with required supplies.\nBe the voice of the engineer for safety needs. Escalate issues and provide improvement ideas and feedback to the Site Sr EHS Specialist on a weekly basis.\nSupport our clients’ desire to improve safety performance by providing training, field coaching, and targeted EHS assessments.\nDevelop EHS compliance procedures, plans, permits, and reports.\nSupport ERM Partners and Project Managers to effectively manage and deliver projects.\nBuild strong collaborative relationships with other ERM employees.\nOversee the EHS Technician team and support operational continuity by covering shifts during leave periods.\nServe as primary liaison for client communications, including reporting and meeting participation.\nREQUIREMENTS:\nBachelor’s Degree preferred.\nMinimum of 3 years of experience providing EHS support with an emphasis on health and safety.\nMust be available to respond to escalations on-call 24/7.\nFamiliarity with Six Sigma safety methods.\nProficient in various Microsoft Programs.\nExisting certification or working towards certification as Certified Industrial Hygiene (CIH) and/or Certified Safety Professional (CSP/ASP) certification a plus but not required.\nDemonstrated understanding of regulatory compliance and reporting processes.\nRequires the use of a Tyvek bunny suit as a part of the standard protective gear in controlled environments.\nEffective written/verbal communication and organization/analytical skills; experience recording/writing detailed technical data and reports a plus.\nValid driver’s license and good driving record.\nWho We Are:\nAs the largest global pure play sustainability consultancy, we partner with the world’s leading organizations to create innovative solutions to sustainability challenges and unlock commercial opportunities that meet today's needs while preserving opportunities for future generations.\nAt ERM, we know that creating a diverse, equitable, and inclusive work environment is an essential part of making our company a great place to build a career.
