Our vertically integrated operations, customer-focused culture, and investment in people and technology make ERMCO the Most Valued Partner for delivering resilient, sustainable power infrastructure for the future.\nJob Summary: The Industrial Engineer (ERP Support) is a vital role within the Manufacturing Engineering team, focusing on building and updating manufacturing routings, defining the operational sequence, work centers, and run hours per unit both for the current ERP system, and for the future ERP system implementation. Additionally, this position will help support the transformation and management of the BOM’s and part master records within the ERP systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial engineering, exceptional analytical skills, and a proven track record in process improvement within a manufacturing environment.\nResponsibilities\nKey Responsibilities:\nEstablish accurate process maps pertaining to manufacturing routings if not available. \nWork with other Industrial Engineers to verify time studies and work sampling to include into the ERP system.\nAssist with cost analysis on manufacturing processes to identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency gains.\nCollaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and finance teams to develop cost models for products and processes.\nUse Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement initiatives and reduce waste.\nDevelop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions based on time study and cost analysis findings.\nParticipate in the implementation of the new ERP system in all manufacturing facilities to optimize workflow and minimize production costs.\nSupport the management of bills of materials (particularly in relation to routing relationships).\nSupport the creation and maintenance of part master data.\nSupport the transformation and conversion of routing, BOM, and part master data for the new ERP system implementation.\nCollaborate on the evaluation and implementation of manufacturing technologies and equipment to improve cost efficiency and productivity.\nImprove the product development process by providing detailed cost estimates and efficiency recommendations.\nPrepare detailed reports and presentations on analysis findings, recommendations, and project progress for management review.\nTrain and mentor team members on cost analysis, time study techniques, and continuous improvement principles.\nMaintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and best practices in industrial engineering and manufacturing.\nQualifications\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certifications in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma is highly desirable.\nMinimum of 5 years related experience with 3 or more in industrial engineering or a similar role, with a focus on costing and time studies in a manufacturing environment.\nProven experience in applying Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to improve manufacturing processes.\nStrong background in cost analysis and process optimization.\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.\nStrong organizational and project management abilities, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.\nEffective communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.\nProficient in the use of industrial engineering tools and software for process mapping, time study, and cost analysis.\nTeam player with the ability to work collaboratively across different departments and disciplines.\nLet’s Build the Future Together\nAt ERMCO, your ideas matter, your growth is supported, and your impact is real.
