This role involves analyzing quality performance, participating in continuous improvement projects, and ensuring compliance with both internal and external quality standards and regulations. The Quality Process Engineer will work closely with various departments to identify areas for quality enhancement, streamline processes, and contribute to the overall goal of achieving excellence in product quality and customer satisfaction.This role is on-site in Dyersburg, TN. Relocation assistance provided.\nResponsibilities\nKey Responsibilities:\nAssist in the development and implementation of quality management systems and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.\nConduct detailed analyses of manufacturing processes to identify potential quality issues and recommend improvements.\nParticipate in the Non-Conforming Material (NCM) process, including investigation, documentation, and resolution of quality issues.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives by applying Lean, Six Sigma, and other quality improvement tools and methodologies.\nFacilitate root cause analysis and corrective action processes to address product or process non-conformities.\nCollaborate with production and engineering teams to integrate quality control measures into manufacturing processes.\nConduct supplier quality audits and evaluations to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.\nAssist in the preparation and execution of internal and external quality audits, including ISO compliance checks.\nMonitor and report on quality metrics, trends, and performance to the Quality Director and other key stakeholders.\nStay current with the latest quality assurance trends, tools, and technologies to drive innovation in quality management practices.\nQualifications\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, Industrial Management, or a related field.\n3-5 years of experience in quality engineering or quality assurance within a manufacturing environment.\nDemonstrated experience with quality improvement tools and methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.\nFamiliarity with ISO 9001 and other relevant quality management systems.\nExperience in conducting quality audits and supplier evaluations.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.\nEffective communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of working collaboratively across departments.\nProactive and self-motivated, with a strong desire to drive improvements in quality.\nOrganizational and project management skills, able to manage multiple tasks and priorities.\nContinuous learner, open to adopting new techniques and methodologies in quality management.\nLet’s Build the Future Together\nAt ERMCO, your ideas matter, your growth is supported, and your impact is real.
