The TPM will lead a team of Technical Process Engineers and be a key member of the Pole Plant Leadership team, reporting to the Pole Plant General Manager.\nThis position is located onsite in Dyersburg, TN. Relocation assistance is available.\nResponsibilities\nResponsibilities\nProject Leadership & Execution\nLead the full lifecycle of manufacturing and technical projects from chartering through implementation and sustainment, ensuring delivery on time and within constraints (scope/cost/resources).\nEstablish project governance: charters, milestones, tollgates, RAID logs, change control, and stakeholder communication cadence.\nDrive cross-functional alignment and execution across Ops, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Planning/Scheduling, Maintenance, and EHS.\nTranslate business objectives into measurable targets using KPIs (throughput, lead time, WIP, FPY, scrap/rework, schedule adherence, OTD).\nEstablish financial and operational business cases for major projects and verify realized benefits following implementation. \nMaintain a pipeline of projects that support the Pole Plant in achievement of best-in-class Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost results. \nChampion and build a Continuous Improvement Culture that engages the full workforce around improvement, in all aspects of the business. \nWorking closely with engineering and manufacturing, supports the addition of new equipment and processes including automation. \nDevelops a high-performing Process Engineering Team that is integrated into the Pole Plant. \nFlow Optimization/Lean System Design/Daily Management\nDiagnose and improve end-to-end system flow using modern Lean tools. \nMap and redesign material and information pathways (routing, kitting, replenishment triggers, scheduling logic, shortages signaling) to reduce waiting, batching, expediting, and firefighting.\nPartner with planning/scheduling to improve schedule quality (constraint-based thinking, realistic load, execution discipline).\nLead Lean deployments: value stream mapping, line balancing, pull systems (Kanban), standard work, visual management, and point-of-use organization.\nBuild sustainment mechanisms: tiered daily management, Gemba routines, standard work audits, and leader standard work. \nQuality Systems Integration (Built-in Quality)\nEnsure improvements align with Quality Systems: control plans, process checks, layered audits, NCR/CAPA workflows, and mistake-proofing.\nPartner with Quality/Engineering to reduce defect escape and rework through improved process capability and controls. \nRisk Management, Change Management & Communication\nIdentify risks early and develop mitigation plans (technical, operational, safety, quality, schedule, supply).\nLead change management: training plans, standard work updates, adoption verification, and sustainment routines.\nCommunicate clearly to leadership: concise updates with facts, options, and tradeoffs. \nPeople Leadership\nDevelop Process Engineers’ capability in modern lean tools and problem-solving approaches. \nConduct regular 1:1s and development planning; build a strong bench of technical talent for growth and ramps.\nProvide direct leadership, supervision, and development of a team of Process Engineers, including goal setting, prioritization, performance management, and coaching. \nQualifications\nRequired Qualifications\nExperience in transformer manufacturing or similar high-mix industrial manufacturing environments preferred. \n8 to 10 yrs of leadership in Operations, Engineering, Quality or Continuous Improvement. \nPMP and/or Lean/Six Sigma certification (Green Belt/Black Belt) preferred or willingness to obtain.\nExperience leading Continuous Improvement initiatives and building CI Project Pipelines. \nExperience leading Kaizen or other focused improvement activities. \nStrong collaboration skills, ability to drive execution through positive influence. \nLet’s Build the Future Together\nAt ERMCO, your ideas matter, your growth is supported, and your impact is real.
